Selection milestone tonight with Hugo starting and Kmac sub... Kmac finally transitioning out of the 22?
Yze has liked Banks from day 1.
Ross has been on the wing too.
Its April a long way to go, but its officially another season lost to an "injury ravaged" playing list. Get KPMG in to audit.
Its the other side of the coin of long deals.
I reckon Prestia's next injury he pulls the pin. I hope there are injury retirement clauses.
Naismith was really poor. May as well play Ryan.
Sad for Hopper. but didn't take Sonze long to get another chance. In the middle not the fwd pocket
JG fwd pocket , rest Campbell
Yze is backing Banks, Brown, MRJ, Dow, Mansell Campbell. Le Fau's been good.
I rate Combo but the writings on the wall with MRJ and Mansell hung onto their spot. Add in Campbell & Yze wanting Bolton up fwd. Add in LeFau, Dusty and Sonsie and the mids rotating up there.
Green got a preseason...
Depth players have to play when a spot opens. can't pick and chose their games; Development ain't a straight line and looking at Miller & Dow they've 5 odd years.
Sonsie/Kmac2 just have to work on fwd craft. Banks in and out of the side means selectors rate him.
Hugo his last year, played...
Sadly senior players are never dropped so injury is the main opportunity to play games. Sonsie & Kmac2 will be in and out of the side until a mid spot opens up in, maybe a couple of years.
Graham, Baker, Prestia & Dusty out the doors over the next couple of years. We will need mid/forwards...
The 7 year plan is what? 8th to 13th last year to 16th currently. 19th when Tassie come in?
My complaint was B O T H of them on the list. They can play and worth the $750k they addressed our clearances issue but the unintended consequence was a a non functioning fwd line even before Lynch...
We have Bauer from the MSD too. Been that long I have vague memories he can play.. The KPPs out of it are mostly failures, If there's a Jai Newcombe you'd grab him for 18 months.
Otherwise its injury depth 6 month contract only , just to field our AFL team this season. Better off in the...
I have no idea what kids might have been available with one of the TT or JH picks. But bringing both of them in pushed Prestia, Cotch forward, kept Graham forward, Bolton fwd, Ross on a wing. Dusty back in the team too relegated Sonsie to VFL. Dow to depth.
Overloaded with mids who we played...
I have no pay TV so afl.com & free to air is what I see. I am a Front Bar fan cos Mick & Pang are funny. Running the new Talking Footy, after Front Bar makes sense. I watched it once.
Cotch speaks well, and on TV., during the finals, was a novelty. Talking Footy is not great for me. Will it...
I wouldn't have minded bringing in a Giants KPF but they all re signed. Kosi is injury depth. If Gibcus, Lynch and Balta were available Kosi wouldn't get a game.
Kosi was crap ground zero, OK vs the saints IMO. A goal and a few hit outs. Did he cost us the loss?
Naismith offers more than...
Baker is an insanely good mark, just kicked a bag of goals from beyond 50. Toby Greene like. A flanker is Hugo, Cumbrerland, Banks.
Baker is so far above them it aint funny.
Gunna lose half a dozen players anyhow. Grimes, Prestia, Dusty etc. I think the club retain Baker until we can't match...
Extremely good player in multiple positions. I'd rather keep him this year. Farking high draft picks at RFC? I don't trust em they'll go to trade and pick up
Yze got the job and who appointed Newman?
If I was Yze I'd be sacking Newy ASAP if he was a threat to my job. I think TI's predictions are as accurate as his assurance that Hardwick would never be employed again after admitting to medical marijuana use.
Nekminit Gold Coast interrupting Dimma's...
Sad news. Unfortunately Clarke's ACL recovery will be under RFC S&C Dept. I hope the SA club who wants him oversees his recovery themselves.
Good news in a way. He's under contract and We still have shed loads of 6 footers left at the club.
