I prefer McCreery. I think his fumbling limits his potential performance, but he can be inspirational at times.

I would be expecting him to win clearances in an inside mid role and collect quite a few possessions in the manner that midfielders do. He has to do more in that role than simply batter and soften bodies. As a small defensive forward there is not so much pressure to gather possessions, provided...

Collecting how many possessions? He has been tried as an inside mid but the coaches have not persevered with the experiment. I feel certain that had he proved effective in the midfield he would have been given more opportunity in this role.

Eddie Betts kicked goals. Beau only kicks the odd one or two. Their possession numbers are not really comparable. Nevertheless I would currently give him a game ahead of Schultz.

We will not get more out of him while he continues to fumble. Needs to be a one touch player, particularly in front of goal.

I didn't realise that he had said last week that he would play again - just a matter of when. Doesn't seem that the situation has been well handled medically or by the club. Little wonder that supporters are anxious for real information and closure.
