He has been poor, I agree. I was just stating that on Thursday night it was a good thing that our players weren't kicking in his direction and that he was a victim of our successful strategy.
I think he deserves a pass this week for this. We were trying to avoid the long bomb to keep Gawn out of the picture. If we were kicking to Big O, there was a good chance Gawn would've been next to him to intercept.
Is there an official itinerary for the day out yet? Trying to work out if the 6:30 vline is going to give me enough time to see everything at the end (minus the concert).
We've never worn blue shorts. We've always been in white shorts, even in heritage jerseys.
Last year we had an Indigenous Fitzroy Guernsey that we wore at home in Brisbane and we wore white shorts with it.
This is my biggest worry. We have had some shocking performances this year when we have underestimated opposition. It is going to be vital to start with high intensity.
He was constantly there ready to mop up the mess our mids were making. He was also on Dunkley at quite a few centre bounces. Third quarter was his best but he was dominant in the centre and clearly their best player.
Ridiculous that it took 3 quarters to put a player on Newcombe. It doesn't take a master coach to see that he was absolutely murdering us in the middle of the ground.
Shameful performance. Even more shameful that the team did not really after what happened to McLuggage.
Gunston needs to go...
I can't see us taking the next step with the current group on the field tonight. Time to step back for 2 years and get some games into our proming youngsters before they leave for more opportunities. Then we can have another crack. Our under 26 brigade look good and we will still have the likes...
They used to do this in the 90s. I remember a footy record having statistics of how often teams had played each other over a set number of years with their being a goal of trying to keep the numbers relatively even.
