Collingwood v Port for right to claim magpies

just a thought, but collingwood and port should play twice a year for the right to be called magpies the next year. Perhaps base the winner on aggregate/ percentage. Would make watching two revolting teams less burdensome. Probably pump up crowds too. Power can remain power when the lose. Not...

would reducing the number of players on the field reduce congestion, make players stick to field positions, solve the interchange problem and free up play? And if every clubs list was reduced by two, would the standard of players go up across the comp?

Could a smaller ball end congestion footy

I'm not suggesting playing with a golf ball, but if a ball was say 10 per cent smaller, was easier to grab and pass, might that not end numbers choking contests?

    Carlton kick to hawthorn runners

Did anybody notice Carlton kicking to hawthorn runners a couple of times tonight? Hawk runners were wearing dark pants, I think it threw Carlton a few times. Runners should wear fluoro or something.

Will AFL get blamed for Olympics fail?

Surely it's only a matter of time until the media blames Australian football for the Aussie performance at the games - it is after all the reason we flop at cricket, soccer, rugby, marbles etc, especially if you read The Roar
