That better not be true, it would be an outrage if we let him go. He's exactly the kind of midfielder we need to throw into the rotation.
There are far too many players we need to move on before we lose him.
Heeney, Gulden, Warner, McInerney, Blakey and Papley all thrive on the fast shoot-outs. Such a collection of quick, skilful and damaging players that hit the scoreboard.
It's the needlessly condescending replies to people that bother me. After all, he would know better than everyone else that we aren't all as intelligent as him.
But to be fair to him I think he's been on his best behaviour lately. So on the beef-scale we are at rare with a serving of Red Wine Jus.
MLS in the midfield was a breath of fresh air. Needs to happen more in the run-in, as he adds the ball progression (carrying and passing) ability, plus it keeps Zubimendi and Rice more rested.
Solid win.
We went back into our shells and looked very cagey once the Calafiori goal was ruled out...
I think he will be, but I also believe we never got to see the absolute best of Rioli due to the persistent injuries.
Watson will certainly kick more goals and have a larger scoreboard impact than Rioli by the end of his career.
Hitting the scoreboard regularly is the only area he will hopefully improve in. He's got strong hands, is a good set shot and obviously has a booming kick on the run.
If he can kick upwards of 15 goals he will have to be considered as one of the top five midfielders in the league. He's had a...
Imagine the outrage if they lost because of that. It was a superb clutch goal. Milera probably would have won the medal too if it ended up being the winner.
Berry has 19 tackles, what a huge effort.
Credit to him and Cook in particular. They both looked like they were destined to be delisted at year's end coming into this season, or fringe players at best, but they've both developed into good players.
He's had two good games in a row.
Hopefully he's set a new baseline for himself now and builds off it. I was especially pleased that he contributed every quarter as opposed to fading or having large periods in games where he doesn't get involved. A bit more gametime helps too.
He's been in career worst form essentially. We all know what he can produce so any comments/criticism is geared towards what we can do to get him back to his best.
IMO he has the tools to be an elite wingman, one of the best and most unique in the competition. I think he should spend a few...
He needs a spell, he's been nowhere near it this season and this game was one of his worst. His form continues to deteriorate.
We know what he can do. But he needs some time away to work on things, and to pull his finger out of his backside.
An actual role would probably help too. Let him...
Really it was 2 points lost. Can't imagine they will be that efficient again, and surely we can't continue to be as inaccurate - though this has been a concerning theme this season.
Pretty terrible performance to not beat this undermanned Collingwood side. Especially when we had ten extra scoring shots, but we could only eek out a draw at the death.
Mitchell was out coached, so credit to Macrae for coming into the game with a plan.
Weddle needs a fair spell, he's had a...
It will be interesting to see how they line-up defensively against us, as they don't really have natural matchups for all of our smalls.
Frampton / Moore / Maynard - Lewis / Dear / Gunston
Quaynor / Perryman / Houston / Jaicos - Watson / Moore / Ginnivan / MacDonald
Having said that, we have...
