    Really not sure after watching this. The dialogue didn't feel right, some of the casting choices now feel odd. I'll still see it but I'm not as excited for it as I once was.

    I actually think it’s a really dumb point. So many of our players would look infinitely better playing in better teams/systems. No one will convince me that someone like Cerra wouldn’t thrive in a Swans/Lions set up.

    I don't disagree but I'm not discounting the idea that he's had it drilled into him for the last 5 years to take the safe option. It's a great illustration of the issues in our game though. Whoever's at fault for it, there's a clear issue there.

    Through round 9, there's been over 300 more points scored than this time last season. 300! Compared with 2023 (the first season we played with 17 teams), it's 550 points higher. In 4 seasons, we've jumped over 500 points. Taking out Penrith (by far the best defensive record), the Warriors...

    This is going to be a blood bath I feel. We've mostly been keeping the results close enough but losing by 40 to the Saints has me feeling like the heads have well and truly dropped and this could be whatever the Lions want it to be. Our best hope might be their inaccuracy on the night.

    What do you wear against Essendon? I hate the candy stripes (just don't like the look) but it did an adequate job against us, albeit I think mostly due to the shorts. Having light and dark on the same guernsey always creates the potential for an issue. Thankfully the shorts eliminated that.

    I assume this will be unpopular but they've absolutely massacred the game imo. They've made it way too fast, it's essentially the 'Big Bash' of NRL. I don't want to see 42-38, I want to see teams capable of defending. It's just too difficult now with the way the game is refereed.
