Back when my legs worked, I umpired an EDFL U/18 game between Glenroy and Taylors Lakes and a certain Robert Stevenson was playing his first game of the year for TL as I think it was Teal Cup time and he didn't make the VM squad and the Jets weren't playing..
Anyway, it was probably the best...
Yep, the streams for Android aren't working anymore or very hap-hazardly.
Even at the beginning of the year, the first station would work and if I changed stations, I then had to pause and un-pause the app for it to start playing.
But the last few weeks have been rubbish. I tried to listen...
Haha...we can afford it!
Yep, the players are playing like they're angry with the EFC...
Here's some exclusive vision of the of the Essendon players preparing the lawyers....http://www.essendonfc.com.au/video/2013-04-12/team-song-dons
Also, they look like a bunch of blokes who are really angry about what they were subjected to.
The anger on their faces when they got Hirdy in the circle for the song against Freo said more to me than any BF thread.
Caro didn't mince her words when she had a crack a Brayshaw also.....ummmmmm....
Well I'm flying down from Auckland and so are a lot of people I know here.
You've got to start somewhere.
I do think however, that they would have loved to have played it in Auckland, but there isn't a suitable ground. There may be in the future as they're talking about turning Western...
I will follow this on something else..
Does anyone seriously believe the ASADA only found out about Essendon and AOD yesterday? As that's what half the posts in the last 48 hours seem to indicate...
ASADA have known about Essendon's use of AOD for over 12 months and yet, have not formally...
Cheers..
I love the byline..."texts reveal relationship between Dank and Hird"....
Wowee....two people working for the same employer "have a relationship"...hard hitting investigtive journalism there....
Now I know why League Unlimited have Danny Weidler "gutter journalism" thread....
Apart from naming Hird directly and naming the drug directly, the whole "article" by Caro et al, is exactly the same as Dank's original 7:30 report interview 2 months ago. Also, it corroborates the comment in the later 7:30 report about AOD-xxxx.
If it's true that ASADA have only found out...
Again I ask, if Essendon players taking AOD-xxxx is the smoking gun which blows this whole shebang wide open and would cause the Essendon players to be suspended for 2 years, then why are ASADA not interviewing Essendon players???
Why are ASADA focusing their investigations on Cronulla?
Why...
Also, does anyone notice the convenient timing of the article...a couple of days before the "Battle of the Bridge"??
Oh crap, I left my tin foil hat on.....
Here's the link...http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/secret-afl-deal-to-avoid-player-sanctions-fires-up-nrl-boss-dave-smith/story-e6frext9-1226593596042
It's the same story with an added bonus.
The first paragraph lost me...if someone could explain to me??
.So according to Masters, Essendon tried to broker a deal with ASADA that would not only have the players escape suspension, but also get the Cronulla players suspended.
* we're good!
How the hell would we be even able to...
I didn't say I'm overly happy with it, but as I said in my edit, Manly and Geelong injected themselves with Actovegin which according the ACC report is "not for human use" yet received no sanctions from their respective governing bodies.
Also, there's the chance is never actually happened.
How many times do I have to ask these questions and not get a proper answer?
Firstly, why does the ACC report say "Not prohibited" if it is indeed banned under S0?
If the ACC report specifically lists 3 growth hormone, and specifically lists their legality in relation to the WADA code...
Of course it has nothing to do with the fact we're the only Victorian team that played on the weekend and all the media shows are based in Melbourne.
Peanut.
What can't you understand? Regardless of how guilty Dank may well be, he won't say anything. They can't force him to do anything and even if they can get him into a booth at Maccas with the lure of a free thickshake, he is well within his rights to say "No comment".
And...Dank is not required to interview from a ASADA perspective...
I don't understand the constant questions...it's not that hard to grasp...
The only hope in hell ASADA have in hanging Essendon is if someone rolls over.....and the team I watched on Friday don't look like a bunch of guys...
Also, McVeigh only played 7 games for the entire year and spent most of it injured.
He may not have received the amount of supplements as others. Surely there would have been weeks when he would never had needed anything other than a good meal and lie down.
Then he's going to get the shredded documents which clearly show that every Essendon player has consumed a suitcase full out drugs, and he's going to stuff them down his pants and run laps around the High Performance centre and the players will say "Oh Ziggy, you so silly!"..
I emailed Rightster last night actually to ask specifically about NZ access as I noticed the NZ exclusion was gone. I was also getting "Not available in your country" when I tried to watch the 2012 GF.
They said it was now available in NZ and that it might be my issue that the GF stream didn't...
