Seems unfair for the teams that need to catch a plane over to Morocco, Spain or Portgual for the rest of the group games. Messy outcome but joint bids for big sporting events is becoming more frequent given the rising cost of hosting.
Seems to be just timing for Rice and Timber. More noise around Partey leaving, so we will need another central midfielder. Squad looking very good, still a bit concerned with strikers, don't want to be in a position where Eddie is backup again.
Does feel like we're back as a destination club...
Oh well, at least City didn't drop points in a way. Would have been a shocking feeling.
Hard not to be disappointed given the advantage we had over a month ago but a very good season overall league wise. Cup runs were disappointing.
Disappointing but still a hell of a season however it finishes. Exceeded the expectations of most of us and ended up playing awesome football for most of the season.
Still in it but it does feel like City will run us down easily.
I get the league is the focus but still extremely frustrating. Still expect City to end up with the title, so the cups this year have been disappointing.
Strange game but not too fussed given the title race and Europe on the horizon. Arteta needed to rotate and we were competitive.
Next game vs City should be 🔥
Not too fussed missing out on Mudryk, I guess winning makes everything seem ok haha.
Our title race will come down to luck with injuries and avoiding mental fatigue given the shallow squad but the team just keeps performing. Fingers crossed Jesus is the only long term injury we worry about...
First time in years we've been exciting. We've had a few good FA cup runs and near Europa League runs but the club is clearly buzzing St the moment. I'd expect top 3 at a minimum if we beat Liverpool but such a long way to go and we all know injuries will pop up.
Trailers in isolation are works of art. Looks very good. Lowering my expectations for the transition to the new black panther because it will be hard to compare to Chadwick. Namor looks awesome and looking forward to something new with the water themed kingdom/story line.
No idea but I love Maxfield and doing things like this. Best players of year, century, team of year etc. I wasted plenty of hours when I was younger doing this at school and uni.
I think I'm over the GF performance now and it was a shocking game but our list is in good shape. As others have said, we just need the younger guys to hit the weights room and keep building strength. Geelong would have smashed anyone on the day but it did look like boys v men.
Ruck my main...
Forgot Maxfield, so I'll swap out Richards since a key defender on the bench doesn't make much sense. Straight swap Papley for Davis.
In: Tom Papley, Stuart Maxfield
Out: Ted Richards, Nick Davis
Mills is closest of the current players I'd say.
Makes me appreciate the 05 and 12 wins more and more. It is awesome supporting a club that competes most years but a GF record in my lifetime of 2 wins and 5 losses is
disappointing. Especially some thrashings in those losses.
Enjoy the day everyone. It has been an awesome season and we're due a W on GF day. Not as nervous as 2014 and 2016, I have two kids now to keep me distracted at least.
Brutal for McDonald but I don't have an issue with it given form. Pretend McLean was performing at McDonald's level the past few weeks, calls to drop him would be very loud.
Fingers crossed Reid gets up and is ok. I'll trust the coaching staff.
Obviously horrendous.
What is the actual point of the AFLPA? Time and time again we hear stories of shocking treatment of players yet the AFLPA isn't aware or says nothing to see here. Something isn't working with the governing body of players.
