    Player Watch Sam Berry

Everyone needs a Tom Atkins in their side and Berry is ours. Tough as nails, tackles to hurt, has power, and burst and gives repeat efforts and in the case of the showdown, did it for 4 quarters with 705m gained. Offensive and defensive weapon, he is vital to our midfield. Starting to now show...

Oh I know lol, very much so. I used to see Archie at my gym a lot, but since it closed, I haven't seen him. It certainly was giving him a lot of grief.

Should have been there long ago. He will suit the modern game.

    AFL Player 15: Dyson Sharp

Mind bending management of him today, TOG got down to 40% late in the 2nd before he came back on and didn't see any centre bounce action when it was in desperate need of a reshuffle. Don't think the ankle was an issue, ran up and down all day though I did note his usual burst was lacking, likely...

Game Day Round 7: Essendon vs. Collingwood ANZAC Day Game, MCG, 24/4/26 3.20pm AEST

Dys awful TOG, confidence would be low, I'd be lining him up in the guts where he can have an impact utilising his strengths.

Preview 2026 AFL Draft General Discussion

Was wondering if they were going to include Gibson as an overager as he's been on fire this year so far and disappointed Simpson hasn't got a gig, he's good to watch.

Rooney was pretty good, my word whoever drafts him will have a player. Very advanced across all facets of the game

Welcome Welcome to Adelaide - Finnbar Maley

Love the way this bloke goes about things, he won't lose any fans (or shouldn't). Big, tall and COMPETES. If he's not marking it, he's bringing it to ground after making a proper contest. Youy can't ask for more from a tall forward and will worry defenders if he gets a run and jump at it. Handy...

Won't be playing VFL as there is the state game so another week off. Prob gets a full VFL game the week after then probably back in either the next week or the week after depending how he goes. Will be too good for VFL level before long.

ROB nothing but a big fking diplodocus with more sht on his boot than the Ganges. NEVER AGAIN NICKS!!!! Borlase and Jones slower than continental drift. Like jealous of it. Just like the dogs game but more painful

Ethan Herbert almost with the rare ruckmans 'triple double' of 30 touches 30 hitouts and 10 clearances (had 29 touches, 34 hitouts and 11 clearances)

I liked Herbert in his underage years for his talent but defensively he was a kitten and just so damn lazy and a frustration. If he gets it together he will quickly fly back to the top of lists. His limit is above state league footy.

    AFL Player 15: Dyson Sharp

I'd give him the week off to get the swelling right down, I've done plenty of ankles in my time playing footy, to varying degrees and 1 week ones are still sore to run and explode off of.

    AFL Player 15: Dyson Sharp

Disappointed to see the ankle injury. Was almost equally disappointed to see him on a wing, a position he has rarely played. Ball certainly seemed to spend more time on the opposite wing to where he was before the injury. I'm sure he'd have been more value in the guts than Parish. He's just...

He's my favourite from SA this year (Cochrane aside of course) has Robbie Gray like talent, does stuff you can't teach. A smart and dangerous player who can win it a lot but also impact on the scoreboard. A leader to boot.

Review R1: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly vs. Collingwood

Good win against that mob, always nice to do it and no better than round 1 at the MCG. Really impressed with McAndrew in the ruck but was not surprised, that's the standard he's been showing all of last year. Great ability to flick or over his head to a running mid, an old school tap ruckman...

I think my English may have confused a few. I was never comparing Jobe versus Tim, it would be a very foolish person to think Jobe was better - he was not. I was only talking about the comparisons in style. 'Jobe is the better overall' measning better overall fit in style. In terms of how good...

I mean more the gait rather than the sheer speed Tim had. I remember him well, fantastic player. Jobe prob the better overall.
