Update if anyone cares
Did legs this morning, with only an amino energy and beta alanine mix in me. Went well. Finished at 7:15. Didn't eat until 12:30 and it went well. Got hungry a few times but I just had an espresso or some water and it went away quickly.
Looks like I've found a winner.
You guys know tonnes more about this than me so I will try anything. First test morning is tomorrow. If it's not too much of a pain, could you recommend what I do post workout tomorrow morning?
Am thinking about doing the 8/16 version of this. But I train in the mornings and want to eat from 12-30 - 8:30 at night.
I saw that some train in the morning around 7, and then take BCAAs up to 12:30 when they have their first meal of the day.
My question is, can I do this without the BCAAs...
What's everyone heres weekly schedule look like. Obviously we have Tues/Thurs training and the game on Saturday, but when are you hitting the gym? I am struggling to find time when I'm not sore.
I also agree with what cptkirk said above. But if it was just for personal use, you and a mate getting one would be fine. Could even make a game out of it I suppose.
I used the tracker just on a 5km jog, but it told me where I ran on a heatmap which I thought was pretty cool.
I'm really happy with it. Didn't notice I had it on one I got used to it. I'd post my stats and all the info it gave me but I am beyond useless with computers. Check the site I posted before, that's where I read about it.
It splits up everything into different zones and all that so will be interesting to see how long I spend running in each of them.
Probably gonna find I don't spring enough.
Sorry if this has been covered, but has anyone used before or had much experience with using GPS for preseason running? Found a company online that does units like Catapult but for consumers and country battlers like me.
Haha yeah I'm going to go with the doc, was more hoping that someone else had had similar surgery and had tips on rehab or advice on how long they missed.
Had wrist pain for about a year or so. Had to have it heavily strapped all last season. Something changed over the off season when lifting weights and the pain became too much. Had an MRI and I have a minor tear of my Scapholunate ligament. Anybody had any experience with this? The Sports Doc is...
Hey mate,
I Just randomly found your post about your Scapholunate Ligament injury via search. I've damaged mine and have been told I need arthroscopic surgery. Were you able to play footy after? How long did you miss?
Thanks for the help, both of you.
Had my last meal at 8:30 last night and my flight is at midnight on Saturday, so i will hopefully be back to a normal eating schedule then as the Holiday is my time to relax and pig out, haha.
So as for a schedule, how's this?
Fast till Wed lunch, have my...
Back after a long delay. IF was working wonders for me, doing the Workout from 7-8am and then having an eating window from 12pm to 8pm (the 4hr wait did no noticeable damage) but then my stupid back decided to blow out on me.
Put on a little bit of fat in my 2 months off IF and am now off to...
First proper day back in the gym after injuring my right rotator cuff. Feels fantastic to be back. Chest and Tris session this morning and my ROM was far greater than pre-injury. Take it from me, spend 5mins and properly warm up and stretch those shoulders!
Injury has prevented me from starting my proper weights/IF routine but as of today, it's all systems go.
I'll workout from 7-8am, then have BCAA to tide me over until 12 (I work at a supp company so they're free, otherwise I wouldn't bother) and then go to town on my largest meal at 12.
Might...
Where from?
Am putting in my next JJ order this week. Continuing my PG obsession with Irving, Lillard, Curry and Hardaway. Is a debit VISA the best way still?
