Our wins?
12th at home
16th Carlton
17th Essendon (we were terrible)
18th Richmond (injuries and down to what 1 on the bench?)
Get the excuse book out guys.
With zero depth. Powell might be crap but what the **** do we have to bring in? Wardlaw back sure but for a club who apparently focussed on the midfield in the rebuild lol 😅
One of the dumber posts in this thread.
He had one decent game in Xerri's abscence. Every other game he has played in the past few years has been abysmal and he has been consistnetly a liability.
I mean seriously 'if we let him go he would be snapped up'... no he wouldn't. no one would pick him...
I mean the Phillips example is relevant here and not in your favour. A high draft pick backed in by a disproportionate many putting all sorts of excuses up.
It’s because he’s a high pick and clearly failing but some supporters just refuse to see it and pull out excuse after excuse.
If he played for another club those same supporters would be taking the piss out of him.
Looked at the fixture list Arsenal's fixtures are easier than City's.
Obviously City's form appears better but Arsenal are now out of Europe so have a singular focus.
Would say Arsenal are still slight favourites, definitely while City still have an extra game that needs to be won.
From what I...
Wasn't his worst game on the weekend. Probably top 3 or 4 he has played for the club but there's no role for him and he has been poor too consistently for too long.
The strategy though to replicate Xerri definitely made him less of a liability in ruck (although the possessions weren't great it...
A 30 metre shot straight in front is ‘class’? Mate he’s an AFL footballer - that’s not considered class at this level. But yep he kicked it which is an improvement of what happened last week.
Yeah but mate no side in the history of AFL has had all players firing to potential in the same game. Brisbane weren’t great either.
I think we’ll see the level of improvement based on how convincing we are against Richmond. We failed against West Coast and need to rectify that this week.
The problem with the ‘nearly there’ people is that we have so many average footballers playing regularly for this side. Until that changes and indeed if that changes this team will never go anywhere.
