Definitely a huge difference between both games. In Gaelic you don't have the threat of losing possession by being tackled from behind but hugely different in AFL. I played at small bit there (training more than any games) and it was certainly one of the things challenging to get used to.

No Irish player gets paid in either Gaelic football or IR. they don't have contracts and they don't get page match day fees of any sort.
