    List Mgmt. 2026 List Management

Do you think it compromise the system too much if each club could add their Indigenous Cat B player to that list position prior to the draft?

That's not true. He gets a medal and he's Tasmania's first captain.

Review R8 Freo Wins the Dog Fight

He didn't appear to bring his second and third efforts, but I also noticed Young not running at full speed over the last few weeks so it may be part of the conditioning management. Voss is still young, the AFL season could start to bite with less break for the less hardened guys. Last year he...

Review R8 Freo Wins the Dog Fight

I just want to say that I hope we don't get Busslinger, I haven't seen someone with less of a resume act like he could tell other players to cover his man after completely giving up the chase and not contesting it. Some of his efforts Friday night were close to "don't bother coming in Monday"...

Review R8 Freo Wins the Dog Fight

Vandermeer goes off halfway through the 3rd with a hamstring injury and Freo kick 8 goals to 1 in the next 20 minutes. We couldn't handle the spread coverage of their speed in the middle, we opened them up when they had to shuffle someone else into that role.

Freo ground them down and their great, sending a message, effort against us fell away in the third just enough for us to roll them over.

Review R8 Freo Wins the Dog Fight

He hates us. He nearly choked saying Jackson was the #1 ruck in the game, calling it "subjective". The guy hates us almost as much as he likes his mate's partners.

Game Day R8 Western Bulldogs vs Fremantle Fri 5.30pm AWST

Mason Cox shepherded in the ruck by a mid, English there, Dogs goal. Dogs kick it out and are given the lasso free, goal scored. Umpire 100m away pays high contact. Still won.

If the AFL directors have said they want the Melbourne Friday night game to be a contest until half time they might start paying the holds on Treacy deep like Kemp did last week and we are suddenly three goals up

We do usually cop it from the opposition attacking winger and he kicked a bunch of goals for them earlier in the season

If the GC player didn't mark the ball from the kick in and send it back to hit Treacy's defender on the chest to goal against us, we don't lose that game. Either of those two spoiling it and we win.

I thought he was lucky not to give away a free kick by being too close to the ball last night.

Hawks looked absolutely spent. I had to look at their last month and they've been pushed to the line twice the last three games, short break this time and another long running game. Potential six point game next week now.

The Dog's strength is their midfield and has been for ten years, missing English has exposed their backline the last month but we need to thump them there to exploit their midget defence

We've travelled to Adelaide a couple of times in the last four weeks. Those poor Dogs have only flown to Adelaide twice in two months and one of them had a bye straight after. I don't think it's comparable.

News AFL overhauls Academy and FS bid matching, discussing draft lockout

Any idea how much the AFL directly pays into the WAFC to develop WAFL colts for draft compared to the millions just WC has paid every year? That $200k fine for picking an academy player from Sydney should apply to WC too for every player drafted out of WA.
