Don't think Tonali was that good when he played either (would probably improve with time though - quality player). Livramento is a solid squad option and I don't rate Barnes that highly
Think I agree with you there. A comedown should be expected with European football and a pretty thin squad (Burn and Longstaff should be nowhere near a top 4 team).
My participation for this year may also be limited for similar reasons to Bradesman. I will also find it tricky to attend the draft as that is the night of my girlfriend's graduation. I'll try to make selections when I can.
My keepers are:
Zibanejad
Svechnikov
Connor
Kopitar

I have just caught up on the game and what a performance. Like others have said, the most impressive thing was the spread of the contribution. It wasn't Parker, Franklin, Kennedy etc carrying the team on their backs, but an even spread of the load. At the moment, I think that is our biggest...
McLean will have plenty of opportunities this season with Reid, Franklin and McDonald being our KPF. It's nice that one of them could go down with an injury (which is pretty likely) and to have a competent back up ready and waiting.
Was a pretty average watch but very glad to get the win. The most impressive thing is that we were able to win despite not playing well. Our field kicking, which has been great over the first 3 weeks, was ordinary today - 60% kicking efficiency I believe. Funnily enough, I think we are much more...

It's an interesting thought and gives the club some flexibility in guaranteeing top flight football to players. Of the players I mentioned:
I see Chalobah and Deeney staying in England (Deeney maybe to Birmingham?)
Kabasele, Pereyra and Deulofeu will be sold to the highest bidder
Capoue will...
You'd think teams will be interested. Depends if anyone is willing to meet what Watford would demand - he did cost around £30 million last summer and I don't think his value has decreased.
