Scott Pendlebury 433+ games - Is it a possibility?

Played a very rare poor game on the weekend like most of his teammates and people are questioning the notion to re-sign the guy? He's still elite and will be for some time to come. You don't just lose his natural instincts and poise overnight. 400 would be more than deserved for Pendles. 433...

World Cup 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup FINAL (ARGENTINA CHAMPIONS)

Pretty Pretty sure it's purely confirmed to be his final WC, not international retirement as he currently can't picture himself still going in 2026. Could easily kick around until the 2024 Copa America. If he wins it all on Sunday then yeah, he'll probably call it quits from Argentina and go...

World Cup 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup (Semi Finals + 3rd Place Match) - On SBS

Di Maria's fitness levels will be telling against Croatia. Messi is Messi and has shown time and time again that can make something out of literally nothing, but against a cagey and stubborn Croatia defence that'll dig deep and grind it out, Di Maria could be the crucial to take some of the...

Oppo Camp Non-Essendon Football Thread XVI

The missus is pies and honestly given how mediocre we’ve been the past millennia, I’ve enjoyed watching them and their never say die attitude this season. We’d go a long way to fixing the multitude of issues we have as a footy club if we took on a similar philosophy and everyone played like...

    Wimbledon 2017

Set and arguably game is a write off but good to see that Cilic's in a better position mentally. Tough to be struggling to land your first serve and Roger's blitzing through his games in sub 2 min.

    Wimbledon 2017

Roger has won 20 of the last 21 points on serve and Cilic can barely land a first serve in, sums up the first set and a bit so far. Cilic struggling with nerves, Roger just doing as he pleases.

There's a currently active seel nest near me. Finally caught my first one Xmas eve, will probably have dewgong in the next 24 hours. Can walk my way to machamp, dugtrio and muk. Just need luck with lapras, aerodactyl and hitmonchan (sighting today [emoji20], couldn't find it). have a 10km egg...

This is exactly what happens. I came across a gym with tauros not long after getting my ditto and tested the idea of obtaining tauros that way.. it doesn't result in anymore than a 'seen' Pokemon.

    RIP Johan Cruyff

Not just European, would place Johan as the most influential football figure ever. Massive loss, his legacy will never be forgotten.

    Europa League 15/16

Will laugh if Sevilla win the whole thing for the third season running. Napoli disappointing but Dortmund are the clear front runners on paper, draw should throw up a couple great ties, predicting there's going to be a Spanish pairing.

    Luis Suarez

Agree with the first statement. Messi is Messi, that's all that needs to be said. Neymar, as ridiculously talented as he is, is still learning his craft. The addition of Suarez has really allowed Neymar to settle much more comfortably, be himself and really grow as a player, a sense of freedom...

    Luis Suarez

Trajectory wise, he's ahead of Messi's 73 goal season right now. Messi was on 38 at this very date of that season, however he scored 4 v Valencia and 5 v Bayer in his next two games or something similar. I doubt he'll break Messi's 73 but at the rate he's currently playing,65 shouldn't be out...

    Champions League 15/16

Maybe so on paper you can easily say that MSN will pretty much destroy any defence put in front of them as quite simply, they're that good.. 208 goals since the start of last season and they're actually getting better as a trio. Back to Chelsea though, we've never been great against them...

    Champions League 15/16

If Chelsea do happen to get past PSG, they're automatically one of the favourites to win it regardless of their domestic shortcomings. I'd actually say Bayern and Atletico aside, they're the one team I'd rather avoid.

    Champions League 15/16

None at all, have zero connection to the city. Been supporting the club since 03/04 though which was around when I started taking the sport a bit more seriously. Always one to do things differently, I went against the majority of my mates who jumped on the EPL bandwaggon and since I knew a bit...

    Champions League 15/16

I just want to win at the Emirates for a change. Actually I'd like to see us make a real statement of intent to everyone else. We're the favourites to be the first team to actually defend it for a reason - and probably the most capable in recent years to do it too. There's something about the...

Yeah only one, Figo and Eto'o (not AC), Ibrahimovic and Davids (Madrid) and Seedorf and Cassano (Barcelona) are the only others I know of even representing three of them without going too far back into the history books.

    Matchday 25

I haven't been sold on Leicester as legit title winners prior to today but I'm seeing the possibilities. They've been great but similarly, City have been nothing short of ordinary. Pep distractions/Pellegrini lack of ambition aside seems to be affecting the side.

Real Madrid FC - Where has it all gone wrong?

The past couple of pages read like Madrid's failure is on the back of signing too many utd players and not enough Liverpool players yet Ronaldo has just about every realistic goal scoring record at Madrid [emoji848]

Real Madrid FC - Where has it all gone wrong?

Busquets is Barcelona's most important player. He's central to everything we do and pretty much is the actual heir to Xavi; not player x, y or z that we're linked with to fulfil that role. I had him as 3rd in such rankings a couple of seasons back (iniesta 2nd, Messi 1st) but seeing how we've...

Who is your all time top goal scorer and can he be caught?

Messi's 418 and counting only has one challenger for the foreseeable future in Neymar. I can't see Neymar ever surpassing Messi but could quite easily see Neymar moving into 2nd. Already has 65 in 107 appearances, 2nd is Cesar with 232 though if friendlies are included, Paulinho alcantara...
