Only watched the incident a few times but IMO he shouldn't have been suspended and should consider himself unlucky. His opponent only turned his back in the last moment and did have an arm free to protect himself.
IMO a side or front on tackle wouldn't have seen Naitanui suspended and the last...
Reminds me of when a newspaper mixed up Sumner and Jetta, a simple mistake and they corrected it but the next 3 articles they wrote the exact same picture of Sumner was used and labelled Jetta.
Eventually yes but 40 years is much longer than the previous deal. You can expect this to be brought up for the entirity of the deal with anger from those who know corruption has everything to do with it.
Eddie McGuire let it slip when he said ''I had an overwhelming fear the grand final was...
Couldn't agree more I called AFL general enquiries to voice my displeasure but instead or answering they play AFL match sounds or I may have been on hold without telling me. Tried calling shop AFL but they only had an automated message directing me to send them an email and finaly called AFL...
I will give the AFL an up yours, like all supporters I am addicted and will stick with my own club but I wont watch non Sydney games any more and if enough people feel the same way there will be an impact.
Even when I am in Melbourne with nothing to do I wouldn't go to a match now unless they...
Adelaide have also been robbed by umpire calls, from memory 2 of Hawthorn's premierships came off the back of controversial calls in semi finals against Adelaide.
Hawthorne have also been revealed to have had camps with current umpires and even hired an ex umpire to teach them how to play up to...
Disgraceful, they had already commited to host grand finals at the MCG until the mid 2030s when pressure mounted to share grand finals in a bullshit move to protect the interests of Victorian clubs. To extend the comitment out to 40 years is clear corruption and rubbing it in your face.

40 years commitment outside of Melbourne no chance even if someone built the greatest stadium in the world they couldn't get a comitment of 5 years, the Vic clubs would revolt.
So they reduced one unfair short term ridiculous agreement they never should have made and replaced it with a different one where AFL grand finals would be at the MCG for the next 20+ years then years later followed it up with a deal extending it out to the next 40 years. Yeah sounds legit.
For long term profitability and to expand the AFL They are attempting to have their cake and eati too.
Are you suggesting other states had the chance to outbid the MCG for thr rights to the grandfinal for the next 40 years? LOL no chance
This current deal involving state government yes but I am refering to the previous extension into the mid 2030s where pressure had been building they quickly reached an agreement with just the MCG.
