Total bollocks! I'm not a Man City supporter, but the bloke is a deadset star, the best midfielder in the Premier League and unquestionably a world class player.
I'm a Spurs fan, so I generally try to pretend the 90's didn't happen.
I don't know about statistically but that Man Utd team of the early to mid 90's, 93-95 really had something special about it.

Good bit of business by Liverpool, but this is still a risk. It will go one of two ways in my opinion
1. Disaster
2. Huge success
Given his immense ego he has the potential to be very decisive and fall out with the club and its fans. Alternatively he could become a Kop legend and push them...
Poor Gazza, the man is a character and a personality. I feel sorry for him, i know some people have no pity but I do. I can't imagine the battles with his addictions. The devastating fact is that he is likely beyond help and will be dead within the next couple years. I just hope that something...
Injured and mismanaged. If he wants to play him injured, he can still be dangerous in a deep forward role. I was amazed we didn't throw him forward until the last quarter against Richmond, may as well try it? he wasn't having much impact on the ball.
I imagine what has happened is....the...
Jacobs for mine has been the standout ruckman this year. Not only has his tapwork been amazing but his around the ground play has been better than any other ruckman. He has kicked goals, taken marks and joins in attacks as well as dropping into defense.
Utter disgrace if he is not the AA this year
I think we ruined him by overpaying him. It was a poor transfer decision as such, he was undoubtedly talented and already proven with Blackburn. He was earning a stack and had a long contract, must have decided he couldn't be bothered putting in the hard yards to become a great. Additionally, I...
Ribery not even on the pine....tough crowd
But a great looking team and pretty hard to argue with that 11. I think Lloris is a better GK than Courtios but can't argue with AM winning the league and making champs league final.
Postiga, Rebrov, Zokora
But hands down the biggest flop was our purchase of David Bentley. No heart or desire to become a quality professional. 15-16million hurts as well for a club like Spurs.
I think Man Utd will be decent this year, LvG is one of the all time great managers and he has a point to prove. He also has two exceptional striking talents in Rooney and Van Persie. They have added a bit of grunt into midfield and a fully expect another 2-3 signings to come in. There wings...
3 EPL era players that would make current Spurs a title contender....
CB - Ledley King (can't think of many better centre halfs or leaders than this bloke) better in his prime than Ferdinand or Terry (both great Centre Halfs) and capable of playing in Porch's high line
LW- David Ginola -...
I'm not sure if I like MM or not but I'm certain that he is a great footy coach. I think that Carlton have a fairly rubbish list with poor depth. On quite a few occasions this year he has coached superbly and prepared the team well only for them to miss sitters or turn the ball over with poor...
I've watched every Crows game this year and I think that our best is very good and I'm a firm believer that we have badly underachieved with our squad. I think we are a dangerous side and one that most teams would like to avoid in September. However I think there is a distinct class difference...
I'm surprised how negative some of the posts on here are about the game yesterday. I though that was a terrific win in a tough game.
Martin is arguably the least popular player on here but I thought he was very good yesterday. His run and carry is something we often lack, his kicking is an...
With the 13 year old girl 'racist' saga I lost a lot of respect for him. Then to get Aus of the year, seems a bit silly. I'm not sure his fierce stance really achieves much, all he really did was persecute a young girl for calling him an ape. If he was a strong character and simply brushed it...
I grew up watching Shaun Rehn and he was a terrific ruckman, I wonder how great he could have been without the 3 knee reconstructions.
Taking a general look at what makes a great ruckman.
There is so many facets to a ruckman's game and the greats had the ability to excel at all of these...
Ask yourself the following question.
If you were building a team right now and could select any 2 players to join. Who would they be?

For mine, the best midfielder and the best KPF (crucial position), it is a no brainer.
My biggest criticism about Buddy and why he wont rank...
Who even cares?
The crows have degraded me to the point of non fuss. I'll go to the game and I always do, but I expect us to get thrashed and I dont even care. This showdown, the crows just don't have any heat anymore. Port are not even hateable, they give great media, have a ripper coach and...
we need to bring in Jon Champion! His EPL commentary is great. I like there simple broadcasts. 5mins talking about where the teams are at in the season and the teams/formations selected for the match, then straight into the game. One commentator, one expert opinion. The crowd can be heard which...
Nicnat is just an average AFL ruckman, not bad but not great. He is possibly the best athlete in the AFL but he just doesn't have the football brain to be a dominant AFL player. I don't believe that it is something that he can learn either. He will continue to provide the odd highlight reel but...
Taylor Walker is in the top bracket when he is fit. His ability to turn a game is special and kicks a lot of goals for a forward that plays a high possession game regularly pushing up to and sometimes past the wing. He has a strong body, great agility and a huge kick. His only limitation is foot...
Some harsh (but I think accurate) assessments....
-Reilly - can't think of many worse 200 game players. Has been average his entire career with the exception of 1 season where the other teams didn't wise up to his one trick pony gameplay. Despite being touted as an 'elite kick' he constantly...

From what I understand TheMetricSystem is correct....there is a rift between Sando and some players.
Adelaide isn't exactly a small town.
Why is it so hard to believe there is a rift? Is it because you dont wish to believe it?
But, rifts happen in footy clubs all the time, it...
