Game Day West Coast Eagles vs Western Bulldogs - Round 15

This week is round 2 against top 4 fancies the Bulldogs. In our last encounter we came agonisingly close to victory until Jamie Cripps made an uncharacteristic clanger in the dying minutes but ultimately we just weren't good enough on the day. We come in fresh off the bye but after a...

    Site performance

I'm not sure if it is just me but the site over the last few weeks has almost become unusable. It may be due to the advertising but that's only a guess. It's constantly hanging and sometimes freezing altogether. Seems to be worse on mobile but on laptop isn't crash hot either.

Greatest ever WCE team to not win a premiership

A bit of a time filler in the off season. Put together the best ever WCE squad with players not to win a flag. It's surprisingly harder than I thought especially the key forwards. My thoughts so far ?? - MacKenzie - ?? ?? - Graham - Sheppard Rosa - Priddis – Gaff Nicoski - ?? - Hill...

    Travel Volunteering in Africa

Just wondering if anyone has done the Africa volunteering thing? I was thinking about doing it maybe next year some time to get work experience in wildlife research. There are other things you can do though. Wouldn't mind hearing any experiences.

    Selwoods last year with us?

Now I may be wrong but as far as I know Selwood is out of contract next year and he is eligible for free agency. Does anyone else get the feeling he will be taken by a Vic side? He isn't really a big enough name or good enough to get in the media over Dangerfield but I haven't seen anyone talk...

    Positives/Negatives vs Port

Positives Played a lot better than last week. Port are a decent team and we matched them Midfield was better than most expected Defence is still looking solid Negatives Goal kicking killed us. Just like the last time we played them. Whats interesting is we kicked at 33% on goal and they were...

Seriously is it time to merge some of the Vic clubs?

Either that or cut them out of the league altogether. I'm talking the ones that are constantly struggling on and off the field. Melbourne, Roos, Bulldogs and to a lesser extent Saints. Richmond have a large following and seem to finally be getting their act together so they are ok. Would...

So we have seen without Ballantyne throwing himself around like a rag doll to get frees Freo dont have anything. Have to rely on superstars in Anthony, Keplar, Mayne, Mellington and Pearce to kick the goals. Same old story year after year. :o

Beauty & Style Does anyone here know about watches?

I just got handed a watch that used to belong to my grandfather and was trying to work out its worth and how it ranks to other watches. I'm not going to be wearing it or selling it just curious. It seems to be a Tissot Seastar A665/765K possibly from 2000. Looks similar to this one. I have...

    Travelling alone

Hey guys. Well I decided that I'm going to stuff work and go do some travelling next year. Not getting any younger and I need to go experience some different things. Positives and Negatives vs the Bulldogs

Its that time of the week again. Positives Won another game and keep top 4 hopes alive Team held on in the end again Cox. Absolute gun. Gaff. We have found another gem mid Lycett showed he will be good in the future. Reminds me of Jaymie Graham Negatives Can we stop kicking it Lecras when...

    When was the last time.....

we were a top 4 chance but not a premiership favourite? For the last 15 years or so maybe more when making finals we have either been one of the favourites or been on the bottom of the 8 just making up the numbers. Feels a bit strange as its sort of new territory for us.

    Lynch's finger

Did anyone just catch that small piece they did on the Q on 7? I wasn't aware his finger was like that. They say him swapping the glove over to his dodgy hand has helped him this year. Probably just a load of BS but anyway.

The Jake King push up record

Ok we've all heard about how Jake King done 300 pushups or there abouts. I have been hammering the push ups lately with added weight too so it got me thinking has anyone here had a decent crack at this number? It would require someone with a decent power to weight. Wondering if any of the...

    Our midfield

OK now the way I see our midfield at the moment we have a 3 definite locks. Kerr, Priddis and Shuey. You could also probably make a case for any of Rosa, both Selwoods and Embley. Ebert has found himself a spot on the HFF and seems to be doing well. My question is, Masten and Gaff look to...
