I think Jiath Jnr will be a fair chance to get through to #40. Seems as though there will be at least 8-10 academy/father sons taken early, which in theory, would make it easier for Jiath to get through to #40.

I suspect if the club interview Curtin again, one of the most important things they will want to know is how happy he would be playing key back instead of in the midfield like he wants. They have probably already asked but might want further clarification from him.

If Curtain and Watson are both available at our pick I wonder if the dogs will ask us for a trade so they can guarantee Watson. We then take Curtin and obtain whatever else the dogs give us for the courtesy of moving up a spot. 🤷‍♂️

Ethan Phillips might actually be a better pick up than Ben McKay, at less than a quarter of the $$$$$ McKay would have been on, whilst also being younger and not poisoned by being on North Melbourne's list. What a blessing missing on McKay might be.
