Our small forwards will be an awesome combo

Cocky, Menzel, McArthy, Motts is a great set up. Horlin Smith and Duncan will bob up too. Lots of pressure from Cocky and terrific goal smarts from all of them. Taylor up forward takes heaps of pressure off Tommy too even if Harry doesn't kick lots of goals himself. We'll kick some big scores...

Sam Mitchell 'unfairly targetted': Burgoyne whines

Just heard Burgoyne whinging that the Cats were going a bit hard on Sammy and that the umps could have looked after him a bit better. Boo hoo. This is this little grub who regularly dishes out corkies with the errant use of his knee. Pathetic.

Chapman all smiles after the game

Lovely to see Chappy so happy after the game catching up with his old mates. He'll always be a Cat. Hird and his mob must have hated seeing that you'd think. Ha

Difference between a consent form and a waiver?

After Spike McVeigh denied that waivers were signed at Essendon but said that consent forms were I wondered what the diff was exactly. The consent forms were signed by the players to waive the responsibility of the club if the drugs weren't kosher in my view. Does this not make them waivers?

A Cats team with only one 2007 Premiership player

Here's a side we could get on the park (barring injuries, and Stringer's troubles and without assuming Boak will rock up next year) which would only include one player from the 07 Grand Final team (Joel). It's weird because the 07 GF still seems like yesterday Guthrie Lonergan Gillies...
