That's actually some classy design work. Really don't mind that jumper at all!

Player Watch Trent Bianco (Delisted 2023)

Feels like more hype around him than Rantall - is he the better player and why did we pass on him earlier..?

Freeing up salary cap for Grundy is as good as a first round pick.

Review Pies win a thriller (Blues 87-106 Pies)

Giving them hope just to snatch it away. 400 IQ play by Bucks.

    Player Watch Darcy Moore

Being 'available' and 'fit to play' are two different things I'd say. Just coz you've come back from injury doesn't mean you're up to playing a senior match...or Grand Final. But we're splitting hairs, what's done is done!

Oppo Camp Atu Bosenavulagi (Traded to Nth Melb. 2020)

Love a late round dice roll! Looks to be an interesting pick. Noticed Quaynor commenting on Collingwood's Instagram post of him and his family - the love is there already!

Player Watch Dayne Beams (Retired 2020)

I've seen a few on Instagram welcome him back, Pendles included.
  10. Wooljay

    List Mgmt. Trade & F/A - 2018/2019 - Part 2!

Prioritise May over Beams please. Pick 18 and a second rounder next year is overs for a player who will be 29 before he pulls the boots on for us again - as much as I'd love to see it.

Player Watch Dayne Beams (Retired 2020)

The romantic in me says "get him home, cost be damned" but the pragmatist in me says "doesn't really fill a need, only has a few years of good footy left, not worth giving away a decent pick for." Maybe we'll get lucky and Brisbane will "do the right thing" like we did

Player Watch Tom Langdon (Retired 2020)

Other than a couple moments and an unlucky bounce, he was a rock...again. Seems to have taken Tooves mantle as backline whipping boy, hope we sign him up asap.

Toast Tyson Goldsack - Hung Up His Boots, (27/8)

Comeback story of the year, absolutely warrior. He'll rise to the occasion. I remember a couple aeasons back his effort against Freo with one shoulder cook and kept throwing himself into contest after contest as we held on to win in a thriller. Would leave the pitch in a coffin for the club...
  14. Wooljay

Do we need May and why, or not

He's obviously taking the piss. We would expect their first rounder too.
  15. Wooljay

Do we need May and why, or not

May is surprisingly quick though, much better athlete than Checkers I'd say.
  16. Wooljay

Do we need May and why, or not

Precisely, they're a brand, not a club and they can't afford to keep taking hits to it.
  17. Wooljay

Do we need May and why, or not

For what it's worth, I don't think there's a snowballs chance in Hell that the Suns let Lynch and May both leave this year. They'll throw crazy money at May to keep him, for the sake of the brand at least.
  18. Wooljay

Do we need May and why, or not

I'd prefer May over Lynch. Dunn is almost done (heh), Reid is unreliable to say the least, Shaz is no certainty to ever play consistent footy, and Moore looks to be out the door. May could be the cornerstone of our backline for the next 6-8 years.

The "We must get Tom Lynch at all costs...or maybe not" Thread

Glad this is put to bed and we can focus on retaining existing players and targetting others. Lynch was never the Messiah (just a naughty, naughty boy), and while he would have been a great get I feel like what we would have to sacrifice wouldn't balance with his actual output. Sign up Moore ffs.

    Nathan Freeman to debut

    Will surely be rookied.

Certified Legendary Thread Q: Why did Freeman Leave St Kilda? (A: He was delisted)

This doesn't seem to make a whole load of sense? Was he re-injured again?

    Player Watch Mason Cox

How can you not love telescopic Cox!
  23. Wooljay

    Oppo Camp Alex Fasolo

Wouldn't be surprised if he's on the plane to Freo given its a home town visit for him and Stephenson probably needs a breather on the run into finals.

    Game Day AFL Round 20 - Matchday Discussion Collingwood@Sydney(SCG – 7:25PM)

Yeah when your injury list could probably beat your fit players in an intraclub match, you're probably stuffed.

    Game Day AFL Round 19 - Matchday Discussion Collingwood@Richmond(MCG – 1:45PM)

With the quality we're missing I don't see how Richmond bottles this one. The likes of Treloar and JDG will be massively missed. Hope to be proven wrong, but just don't see us as having any chance against them.
