Hope this rumour getting around about Buddy re-injuring his hammy isn't true. Have heard it from 3 different people in the last hour!!!

Why are there people calling for players to be rested this week against GWS?? Didn't we just have a bye last week which the players were given time off from the club? If a player is fit to play this week, he should play.

Disgraceful effort by the Mercury, especially when you compare the northern papers (Examiner and Advocate) coverage of the local leagues up there. Very embarrassing for regional football in southern tas.

uni have lost a few players i think. Mazey, Reeves and rumour has it Gilmore may be tempted to Bellerive Oval next year to play a similar role to "Budgie" Geappen's last year in forward line.
