Ballas and Sandi have been re-signed as list management decisions. You need players to de-list next year (due to AFL min requirements of 3 list changes per year)
So re-sign them with the foresight that they get de-listed (retirement) next season. Meaning we only have to find 1 more player to...
So as it stands we can go to the draft with 4 picks
Out: 8
D Pearce
M Johnson
L Spurr
L Neale
B Grey
C Sutcliffe
T Sheridan
L Strnadica
In: 4
J Hogan
R Lobb
R Conca
T Colyer
Meaning we prob take picks with 14 & 31 then the 2 NGA boys
Where's the dislike button. With all that happened today I come to bigfooty to see the next installment of Belly and the Silver Fox....to find I have to wait til tomorrow.
J/K Looking forward to it tomorrow now.
Where has Beams come out and said he hasn't requested a trade back to Collingwood??? (or even requested a trade for that matter)
Trade radio still discussing the "shocking" details of Beams requesting a trade, so why would they do this if Beams has said he hasn't requested a trade. They have...
No he hasn't. He has been made an offer from Brisbane of $4M over 5 years. A damn nice offer if you ask me, but I am sure its an offer that Freo can match.
Have to wait for Lachie Neale to decide if he wants to accept that offer or not.
If a club isnt up to its min salary cap percentage paid they go to players and amend contracts for the current year only.
Player A signs for $200k and everything is happy. Club doesnt reach minimum payment so go to player A and say "hey, would you like an extra $20k this year". Player A says...
I really enjoyed that interview with Damien Barrett and Steve Rosich.
DB: Would you accept #4 for Lachie Neale
SR: No
DB: "Spills coffee"
Hope the coffee burnt your leg you flog DB.
I dont see him at half back. I see him in the middle along side Blakely, Fyfe and Brayshaw. Langdon moves to the wing (due to his outstanding 2 way running) and S Hill moves to half back.
We are going to lose Neale, who does that leave who can play as an inside mid? Fyfe, Mundy (who prob shouldnt be at his age), Blakely, Brayshaw, Banfield. That's it and 2 of those are rookies.
We need some inside mids and Conca can play that role. Happy for him to bash and crash and feed out...
I like it except for 2 changes.
1) Tabs ahead of Cox. Cox is a better mark but terrible kick for goal, also his leading patterns are still quite bad. Tabs has a better kick for goal and his leading patterns are much better.
2) Sandilands plays - not sure who comes out though. I like the...
I wouldn't want to do that. If there are no other trades eventuating then I would want to keep the 1st pick (obtained from Brisbane) and use that on Max King -- we still need a key forward and he should be on the board still. If you can facilitate a trade to get back to 10 - 15 and another...
Here is the link to the Belly interview (just because he is the GM of Football Operations isnt going to stop me from calling him Belly)
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/09/27/dockers-provide-trade-update-on-multiple-targets/
It wasn't the Media that reported his teeth are not viable - It was Andrew Brayshaw himself who reported it in an interview on Melbourne radio (MMM if I remember correctly)
But back to the topic. Reece Conca at a cheap price $300k to $400k would be worth getting IMO
