Well put. I coach my daughters netball team and have a couple of players who I need to play at WD or GS if my good GA is on. What keeps kids interested and developing is not getting flogged every week. The not so good players need to feel part of a win not the reason for a loss.
I’m sure I read an article saying that a snap was easier and more accurate as there is less chance of error as there is a larger surface area for the foot to kick. I’ve tried to find it, but can’t.
Does anybody know if you can upgrade a junior ticket to an adult ticket? Can’t call Ticketmaster and have put in a request, but who knows how long that will take. A mate of mine will be much better to take them my 7 year old.
I’m going away on Thursday now, was going to be Friday so I have a ticket in section 29 if anyone wants it. There will be a spare seat beside as it is my daughters, if you have a friend with a ga ticket. You can have her kids ticket as well if you have one you would love to take. Let me know...
I used to coach the Inala u12’s years ago for the met west carnival. I use to take anyone who rocked up as we would be lucky to get 12 kids to trial. One year I had two girls so happily took them along. One was Gabby, a great kid who did everything you asked and had great skills and was the best...

Not sure if you are a regular to training, or even if you can make it to training, but in the last four or so years that I have been getting to preseason training there is a significant change this year. More talk, more energy, different drills and a positive vibe. I told myself I wasn't...
Got down to training sans the little one so could pay a bit more attention. Had a scratchy at the end. The thing that stood out was their use of hands. Seemed to know where each other were and used this to get out of trouble effectively. Kicking not so much, bit ordinary.
Players that I...
From the bits I have seen of him at training I get a slight Daryl White vibe. Great leap on him and a dangly running style. Will be a success if he is half the player. I am firmly on the bandwagon.
I was there and agree. Few people around me commented how good bundy was looking. Cedric Cox stood out for me in the running. Was pushing Nick Robbo in most of them.
Hate to be a bearer of bad news, at training this arv someone went down and an ambulance was called. Not sure who it was, maybe Clarke? They were concerned about his neck as they didn't move him until the ambulance got there.
The most frustrating thing was the midfielders over committing at the contest. We had to many trying to win the ball and not enough waiting for the ball to be dished out to them or force another contest if Richmond got the clearance. Not sure if this is the players not having faith that they...
That is very true, plus we have a lot of guys who have never played before most are rugby boys. We also have a few kiwis, a canadian and an irish, when they learn a bit more about the game we may start to get a bit better. Not bad for our first hit out and better than I thought we would go...
