We have only had four play senior football.
Craig Williams who played a few games in 1977.
Devonport and O’Brien who both played their last Saints game together in 1995 and Callaghan who was the last.
Some additional skills could be handy for a footy player. Imagine one of the young Riewoldts being the first to leap over an approaching tackler and run into an open goal.

The first Saints recruit to be born on the day of a Saints victory since Josh Bruce.
He spent the whole of the Elimination final in 2020 playing for free kicks and the umpires mostly obliged. Probably not a valid reason for passing on him but it would take a while for me to get over that.
