The coach was sacked due to many factors including not being liked by the players. Brett Ratten was seen at the game on Sunday which could be a pointer to our next coach, although I hope not.
I'm sure Jarman will make a positive impact at North but one thing, I can't believe he is giving Hudson the role as number 1 ruckman. Surely giving an AFL listed player a main role like that is dangerous.
Thanks for the compliments. This combined with me voting you for mod. It is kinda weird how we are getting along so well these days. Oh well it beats arguing I guess, maybe we argue more than most on here because we are so passionate about it.
I got confirmation myself an hour ago and was coming here to post it! Oh well you beat me to it, we must each have reliable sources!
Also, Ben Ahmat has gone home to Darwin.
I swear you are at maximum 12 years of age judging by that post.
Say howdy to my ignore list, because that is where you reside for a week or two. But first Im saying this -
The bays are more male than North will ever be, North are an absolute disgrace. How original using the age old theory -...
How old are you, 8????
It isnt a sport anyway and I wouldnt expect anything less than this childish response from you.
You would know all about grown men acting like that, you do follow North dont you. They play like they would be like that.
I liked Murphy. Blast from the past there !
As for Hodges, yes, he was a top player and you cant fluke 153 goals in a season. (1990). He hurt us enough but you have to respect him despite that.
I heard that Rehn has got 3 players who left the club last year back training with them for the pre season. I can only think of Barrett who went to Port as one. Can anyone help with the other 2 ?
Re: Re: Who will Glenelg Pick as coach ?
Yeah Grenvold is a good one but will they want someone with more experience ? Grenvold was coached by the master, Kevin Sheedy and we all know the players who have been under him to go on to coaching.
Applications closed on the weekend. Lets see who can pick it.
I hear they have been in contact with some former AFL players who retired this year.
I will take a stab and list David Rhys Jones, Garry Hocking,Tony Liberatore and a roughie, David Grenvold who has done a good job with sturts reserves.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Weak Glenelg, Weak !
one week I missed a game there due to a prior committment !
I may think it is a bad ground to watch footy at but I still attend
As if. I have been there through all the bad years. I have been a member since about 94. I was stating that I think it is a joke to sack another coach.
