Probably needs both an injury and to dominate VFL finals if it somehow goes ahead to be any chance. What sucks for most players not getting a game now, it's almost impossible to earn a game with no VFL. And if it does come back, players would probably be rusty. Casey are in the VFL Finals...
Tbh, Port were more impressive than Melbourne this week. Took them pretty much all game to put the game away despite the McStay injury and umps on their side. That goalless quarter was also really poor. Melbourne still the better side overall this year and still overall flag favorites in my...
Probably a bit late for this, but I wonder given the night Andrews has had, why not throw him up forward to give them some structure, and someone like Cockatoo (who also hasn't had a good night) down back to give them some speed. It's risky, but it would help them move the ball faster and allow...
Lions lucky there. Berry's dropped mark was pathetic, but why wouldn't they try to kick it in deep before that with 30 seconds to go? Was almost a 12-point play.
Wow. The most intense 30+ point margin last quarter. What a round where pretty much every game except crows vs norf and giants vs blues has big stakes (suns vs swans had Buddy's 1000 goals this year at stake).
I know he took a decent mark 10 seconds later, but Lewis Young should've just tapped that ball down to Macrae instead of grabbing the ball and getting pinged in a tackle as soon as he grabbed it. Also that handball after he marked it was super sloppy.
Wow was not expecting McKenzie to bring the cannon back. Hinkley should probably try and turn him back into a winger cause he can't defend one-on-one, and he could be able to kick 50-70m goals somewhat regularly (especially with the new man on the mark rule).
Yeah, but we actually won this time. We've been competitive in most games this year, but just haven't been able to get the job done or dropped off. The difference between a close win and close loss is huge.
Game of the year. Not just upset of the year. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game as a neutral as much as this.
You would think that in a upset as big as this the favorites would've lowered their colors, but honestly, both teams played exceptionally well.
That handball was...
Pretty even game. I think umpiring was bad both ways, but the thing that killed any hope for suns winning was Witts going, cause not only did it mean they were losing hit-outs, their forward structure was screwed. And trainers taking too long to get Witts off the ground also cost them a goal...
Dude, if you're a contender, one injury isn't gonna stop you. The top teams have depth, which you seem to have. If this one injury ends your season, you weren't a cotender to begin with.
