    Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 5 - Cats v North Sun April 14th 1:00pm (GMHBA)

We have had a soft run but 20% of the sample size in both examples is because Geelong won / Geelong opponents lost and North lost / North's opponents won so it is a little self fulfilling at this early stage of the season.

    Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 5 - Cats v North Sun April 14th 1:00pm (GMHBA)

Surely you just pay the point without wasting 5 minutes given the context of the game.

Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 3 - Hawks v Cats Mon April 1st 3:20pm AEDT (MCG)

Um, of course it would. It would be connected to a live feed from champion data at a minimum.

Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 3 - Hawks v Cats Mon April 1st 3:20pm AEDT (MCG)

Gave up quicker than the Eagles. Change of direction in the wet against unfit security would have been lulz for everyone.

Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 3 - Hawks v Cats Mon April 1st 3:20pm AEDT (MCG)

Geelong will ease off if they have a big break at 3 quarter time. 5 day break to next game.

Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 2 - Crows v Cats Fri March 22nd 7:40pm AEDT (AO)

And the fixture is not even a surprise. When we said we would bounce this year pre season because we get a full pre season and a good fixture based upon not making the finals last year it was dismissed and we were Max Gawn. Now we have used the fixture of a team that finished 12th last year...

Autopsy AFL 2024 Round 2 - Crows v Cats Fri March 22nd 7:40pm AEDT (AO)

Venue makes all the difference in this match up. I'd expect Adelaide to win but it is a good test for Geelong. If we can win it, it would be huge in the context of the season. Only have to jag a couple of these type of games over the season to make the finals when you factor in the KP games and...

Ego to be the match winner more than a lack of footy IQ. He kicked it and it is a results based world.

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 21 - Cats v Port Sat August 5th 7:25pm EST (GMHBA)

Agreed. How many of Port's outs would be in their best half dozen players? Those 3 are for Geelong. Equal 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the B&F for a premiership team last year.

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 15 - Cats v Demons Thurs June 22nd 7:20pm AEST (GMHBA)

Probably defending Port's finals record here while using it to s**t all over Hinkley on the port board.

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 10 - Hawks v Eagles Sun May 21st 1:10pm AEST (UTAS, Tassie)

The road sucks for the perma road works. Not sure where you live to call it congested lol. If you got to Hobart in peak hour maybe but Launceston to at least Bridgewater you'd never ever have congestion issues.

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 10 - Hawks v Eagles Sun May 21st 1:10pm AEST (UTAS, Tassie)

If WC can't physically field a team, what would happen? Would the AFL give special dispensation to play someone from North Launceston or whatever....

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 8 - Cats v Crows Sat May 6th 2:10pm AEST (GMHBA)

It is 2003. Only won in Geelong 3 times since they came into the competition. Brutal. Some decent loss streaks at KP. Adelaide surprises me though to be honest as outside the last couple of years they have been competitive for the whole time period unlike a couple of those other sides...

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 21 - Cats v Giants Fri August 6th 7:50pm EST (GMHBA)

Pretty sure we have a s**t hot record off 5 day breaks including one that was to Perth earlier in the year. I don't think it is the big deal that people make it out to be.

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 19 - Cats v Tigers Sun July 25th 3:20pm EST (MCG)

The 7th to whatever teams are all hopeless so Richmond could still make it even if we beat you so doesn't come into my thinking at all

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 19 - Cats v Tigers Sun July 25th 3:20pm EST (MCG)

I know you are trolling but there is not going to be any fallout for a team that would drop from 3rd to.......oh, 3rd on the ladder with a loss. With two Melbourne teams 1 & 2 makes no difference really as finals in Melbourne regardless.

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 9 - Saints v Cats Fri May 14th 7:50pm EST (Marvel)

Umpires can't catch a break. As fans as a whole we cry out to just let the players play yet when they do that it is all about every free kick they missed. St Kilda fans should be more worried about their marquee key forward being John Butcher II.

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 6 - Freo v North Sat April 24th 8:15pm EST/6:15pm WST (Optus) Update - No Crowds Allowed

We say the same about the bottom team every year and they find a way. Do they get to play the Eagles in Tassie? :rainbow:

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 5 - Cats v North Sun April 18th 4:40pm EST (GMHBA)

Personally I think the fact that we are playing average and there are a few players down and or under pressure is the reason they will put the skis on and give them a good old hiding.

Autopsy AFL 2021 AAMI Community Series - Cats v Bombers Sat March 6th 7:10pm AEDT (GMHBA)

We don't have a fit ruckman with Stanley, Ratugolea and Fort all injured. Duncan is missing. Then just your fringe players like Simpson, Dahlhaus etc. So reasonably close to full strength.

    AFL 2020 Round 14 - Dogs v Cats Fri August 28th 7:50pm AEST (Metricon)

I was on the fence when we picked him up to be honest. Sort of player you have to watch week in and week out to appreciate I think. He almost suffers from originally being a top draft pick as people expect more. From an athletic perspective he'd be pretty close to Danger. He is just not that...

I don't know, the bottom 6 or so players of their grand final teams in the early 00s, Mick was a genius getting those spuds so close.
