Yep West Brunswick have a Clubbies team also (last year we had 4 men's teams, so we cater for all standards including have a lot of first timers)

Wouldn't an easy fix be to have the cap at 48 points for A, B, C grades (as they are considered premium comp) and something a fair bit higher for D Grade clubs (& or those not with Juniors/School sides) that get whacked points for players coming from a premium comp (Ammos/Country/Interstate)?

It would be good to see a more detailed explanation of what would be introduced. To me at least, a few things are unclear. For example. Do a players allocated points reduce by 1 each year (until allocation is 1) as per as I think happens in other leagues using the system? Also what happens if...

So having a competition that was "regionalised" (assuming the "N" is for North in U19N) didn't actually solve the issue of having to travel? Isnt that one of the main reasons to regionalise the competition though?

I agree. Once I saw this I went back to Q1 and selected "other" (as that was the only place you could write comments) and stated that my selection was not to answer Q4 but their survey design had forced a response.

It could be the end of some lower clubs in my opinion. Some teams in Div 4 have struggled for a few years to win any/many games in their own division, and quite often suffer multiple heavy losses during a season, let alone if they had to take on teams from two and potentially three divisions...

Hi i hate scams, We have training and then a BBQ on this thursday night down at West Brunswick ground (Macalister Oval, park st, Parkville, near the train line), come down for a run and have a look if you like. 6.15pm start.

I havent read how it is meant to work but I would assume that the highest place winner (so you would think 1st) would get to play the 'lucky loser' which I guess is an advantage if results go as you would expect.

What league are their Under 18s in? Would imagine some of these would be their unders registering for their Senior teams.

Congratulations to Red Gum who is playing his 100th game for West Brunswick tomorrow (barring a banner mishap as nearly happened a few weeks ago), only missed 3 or 4 games since he started with the club which is a fine effort.
