Apparently it’s due to them beginning production prior to the end of season. Plus from a financial perspective, if they produce a second run with the gold logo and people know it’s coming, then the entire first run would be wasted stock.

But Nike has taken 3 months to deliver premiers guernseys and hasn’t produced any guernseys for about 6 months. Been completely useless and their sizing is ridiculous.

They probably wouldn’t have been able to produce so many thousands of guernseys in a week and if they’d lost, they’d all be useless!!! The players signed them the day after the GF, they’re not even a guernsey, just a thin piece of fabric.

You’re more than welcome to wear your jumper from pre 1897, no one is stopping you. Although don’t try to wear the jumper you wore in the 1940s and 50s, then Eddie would be proven 100% correct 😉

No one is stopping Port Adelaide celebrating their history, they are free to wear any of their other jumpers they wore before they wanted to be like Collingwood. No other club wears pink, if Port wanted to celebrate their rich history there would be no opposition to it! But does anyone think...

Except the club has already gone from given the chance in a heritage round only, then in 150th celebrations to now wanting it every year, they already do go further and further each time they are given a chance.

Glorious day in an otherwise bleak year

Nike must have changed as I was a XL/2XL back in the day and bought a Nike 3XL and it didn’t fit but was the largest size they sold. I’m now an ISC small and the old 3XL Nike fits nicely!!!

I found this with Nike, I bought a 3XL of theirs years ago when I was an XL and it was too tight. Now I’m a small/medium in ISC, the old 3XL Nike jumper fits ok...

That’s implying they ever had any? I remember when their argument was they’ve been around longer so were entitled to the black and white, ignoring the part where they only adopted the PB jumper well into their history.

Most clubs do that anyway as they replace the official stuff every year and with Victorian clubs they’re desperate to sell something Whilst ISC is likely on the way out, sales wouldn’t be a sign either way imo, unless they do a mass everything must go as Collingwood did with star athletic

Their umpiring stuff was the best we’ve had, I still wear the BLK stuff and won’t get new ones until forced to.

I had the same problem with different Collingwood jumpers. I had a couple that fitted me fine it ordered an ANZAC Guernsey online one year because they often sold out and it was super tight, ended up returning it and of course they’d sold out of the bigger size already! So even same club, same...

This! Makes a lot more sense to have one source then the only thing you need league branding on are tops and shorts. As an umpire who moved across a few leagues, it’s good to not have to buy new stuff for every league!

And they weren’t the most comfortable to wear either
