You got any tips? I haven't spent too much time around snow, especially photographing, but I'll be here all winter. Is it just a case of playing around with the editing or are there some settings I should be looking at while taking the photo also?

    Health Depression

If you don't mind me asking, what are the complications that they have tried to warn you about the operation? I've been watching a fair bit of Grey's Anatomy lately, so I might be able to provide some medical advice.

Was never really in to photography but since moving to Switzerland last year I've slowly been developing an interest... So much beauty here. I'm thinking about buying a proper camera, but in the meantime I have a Huawei P30 pro which does a decent job. Malta last week

    Leaving Australia to live overseas.

Apologies for the late reply. I don't even know where to start, I couldn't possibly fit in everything I have to say about it all in to a piece of writing. It has been a long season full of ups and downs. The excitement of being in a foreign country surrounded by a weird language and weird people...

    Leaving Australia to live overseas.

Probably had my first real day here today where I missed home a bit. The work here has been very slow. I've gone from cooking for 120+ people a night in a big team of about 7 good friends to cooking for 5 people over a whole day with one other person. I know it will get busier in the summer...

    Leaving Australia to live overseas.

So far so good. Finished up work in Adelaide on the Saturday night a couple of weeks ago, flew in to Switzerland on Wednesday and started work on Thursday so I didn't really have much of a break in between but I think that's kind of helped me get settled. It didn't stop snowing the first day I...

    Leaving Australia to live overseas.

I'm a chef, got a gig at a small hotel through a friend of my old Tafe instructor. Gonna be a fairly big change up going from a busy Adelaide cbd restaurant to a quiet village town but its exciting. Apparently a couple of people in the kitchen don't speak English too well either so there's gonna...

    Leaving Australia to live overseas.

Moving to Switzerland next week. Doesn't even feel real yet, I haven't even started packing my things up. Nervous as **** as this wasn't even on my radar 2 months ago so I haven't really had much time to process it but a job opportunity has come up and with no commitments back here it's pretty...

    Travel Getting a British Passport

Wondering if anyone here has gone through the process of getting a British Passport from Australia before. I've been looking through the UK gov website trying to find out if I even qualify and I'm finding it all a bit confusing. These are the facts: - I'm 25 - My father was born in the UK and...

Society & Culture Moving to Adelaide

Adelaide is a great city, those who knock it usually have never lived here and talk down on it because it's 'cool'. The northern suburbs are nothing to write home about, I would not choose to live in areas around Salisbury, Elizabeth, Smithfield, Davoren Park etc although Mawson Lakes I think...
