The hand the SANFL played last week to try and take-over Port was either a shrewd one to get the AFL to under-write Port or a stupid one if it leads to the licences being taken off SANFL and kept by AFL or given to clubs.
but ... I'm sure SANFL expect that as partner in the future SMA at AO...
yep - they own the licences and the AAMI stadium (including the land), so if he clubs dont like the deal ,they cant complain to their licence holder - only the AFL. (It would be like you rent a house from a landlord who also sells you groceries and runs the residential complaints tribunal, too)...
Car Parking ($15 per car this year), corporate boxes, food and beverage, advertising (SANFL are selling ads on scoreboard to IGA who are a competitor to Crows sponsor, Foodland who arent happy & Crows cant do a thing about it and SANFL dont give a ...)
Basically, Crows are a total 'SANFL'...

You guys obviously were in the AFL gun at the beginning of 2007...fail in 2007 and you could easily be shipped to GC...Eddie seemingly knew or guessed.
... many predicted you to finish bottom 4...you nasty guys upset Vlad by making the top 4!
Good on you...now make sure JB & Co...

I am from Adelaide and now support Power.
However, I went to a North Melb game at Arden St against Collingwood in May 1979 on a trip to Victoria.
It was the year 2 South Aussie's lined up for the Roos - Graham Cornes (later Adelaide Crows inaugural coach) played 5 forgettable games...
