I don't agree with this. What would you describe Collingwood, Sydney, Adelaide, Geelong or Hawthorns lists as then?
I just think the way the footy world is at the moment, is that everything is subjected to hyperbole and headlines. Things probably aren't as bad as they seem. Melbourne have a...
Whilst it isn't great to have your coach and list manager speaking on different wavelengths, at least it keeps other clubs in the dark. If we don't know if we're going for Davis then sure as hell the clubs behind us in the PSD don't which may effect their decisions too.
Whatever we do now is...
Suppose the OP was also outraged when Ben Hudson was traded to Brisbane? Luke Power to GWS? Barry Hall to the Bulldogs? Carlton getting an early draft pick and a young player for Fevola after they sacked him?
Meh, you guys have done very well this trade week, but you would not have been able to had players not been leaving left right and centre. We've done stuff all which is a bit dissappointing, wasting our entire week arguing with West Coast over 5 draft positions whilst we could have been getting...
Brad Smith? That's an odd one, was a mature age player on an AFL list for two years and did his knee twice in those two years. Kicked a hell of a lot of goals in the WAFL and was pretty unlucky to never play an AFL game. Obviously personal?
Plenty of Collingwood players had some shockers, but I thought Stokes had a Bateman Prelim like game. Wasted a lot of opportunities when the game was tight.
Ah well, he's got another medal now so thats all that really counts in the end!
A very impressive coach, well done to him, would have made no difference to our season though, a good coach makes no difference to a very ordinary playing list.
Bailey was a very ordinary senior coach who tanked for draft picks, but people forget that he was a pretty highly regarded assistant coach at Port during our Premiership year in 2004. If he was appointed head coach, then yes, that would be pretty funny, but he's not so it isn't.
No these are just advertising placards held by people who are paid to wave them, nothing to do with West Coast. Surprised Subiaco Oval management or the AFL haven't tried to crack down on it, bet they would though if it was a direct competitor of one of their sponsors.
I can agree with most of those, but Jurrah and Davey you have got to be joking. Riewoldt has struggled this year, but people forget how good he has been, was only last year he dominated the Prelim and put the Saints into the Grand Final. People who write him off will be proven wrong, it's...
Maybe, but Boak should be more of a gun than he is, Gray is a very good player, every club in Melbourne is chasing Trengove, O'Shea's been an excellent pickup for the price, Butcher for some reason only played his first game today, Hartlett has class in spades, Carlile was excellent a couple of...
We don't have any less young talent than the Crows and I would say we would have more. But the difference between us and the rest of the AFL is that other teams actually have senior players who do the hard things making life a million times easier for their young players making them so much more...
It's basically a Carlton home game! How many supporters do they have in WA? Make a lot more noise than Fremantles supporters. Good effort WA Blues.
Third team in WA perhaps :p
Wow, looks like Geelong are going to take Gary Ablett's son in the draft. Have to laugh at these teams taking sons of ex players, sure they have a connection with the club making them completely loyal to the club, but most of the time these father son picks are used on hacks who live off their...
