Essendon need to delist a minimum of 5 of these
6 if the club wants a PSD pick
Note - Hird is "outside" the list of 38 while Fletcher is "inside" the list of 38
Restructure my arse
The same people are still there, with the same job responsibilities, but have new wánky job titles
Only real change is that Calthorpe replaces Cato as Football Manager
It was hardly well promoted though by the club, they tried to keep it as lowkey as possible and get as low a turnout as possible
Essendon AGM's hardly get anymore than 200-300
People who registered with hotmail and yahoo e-mails, their 'invite' got sent straight to their trashcans because...
Sheedy unoffically retired him on 5AA last night
Nobody seriously thinks he'll play AFL again - Rama is quoted on another forum of telling somebody "he was finished and there was no way he could play again"
Is under contract, he won't be officially announcing any retirement until the end...
Talk on usenet is that Alec Epis is playing some funny buggers and is in the process of setting up an 'alternative ticket' and he is using Tim Watson as his 'trojan horse'
Watson in The Age today has thrown another grenade calling upon teammates from his time "to throw your hat into the ring...
Alec Epis apparently is going to move a motion of no confidence against McKissock and the EFC Board at the May 30 members meeting at Moonee Valley Racecourse over their handling of the jumper issue
"However Sheedy said the concession should only be made provided all Clubs played under the same rules."
Which means if Eddie saves the black & white stripes, he is all for it saving the red sash in the process
Classic Sheedy double-talk
The facts also are, that when they joined the VFL in 1897 they wore a light royal blue and did so again up until the the late 80's
They never clashed until Melbourne changed their colours to dark blue in the late 80's
What's it got to do with Essendon if Melbourne changed colours every 20...
Is a bloody logical and common sense solution to continue on from the original 1987 VFL ruling
First in first served
Essendon & Collingwood should be happy
Essendon & Collingwood fans should be happy
Dan26 should be happy as there will no longer will be any clashes of any sort
And on BomberTalk that are suggesting that people should protest against club sponsors and not buy their products and write letters to club sponsors to force the club to change it's position
At bomberblitz they are putting together a petition, while at bombertalk it's boycotts and sponsor...
If you had read what was on the BomberBlitz forum, nobody is trying to get rid of the board (well apart from a handful of 'radicals'), even main agitator Mero suggested that was the case
They are getting the 100 signatures to get the club to call an open members information night within 30...
The BomberTalk forum is also filled with dozens of angry Essendon supporters against McKissock & the board, it is more than just a BomberBlitz thing
Do find it kind of ironic that the official site is hosting a forum where McKissock, the Board and Peter Jackson are getting torn to shreads
