Feel free to discuss why you think its a good or bad idea.
I tend to think it puts pressure on the lower level teams to retain their talent. That's already an issue.
The media love the idea simply because its more to bullshit about halfway through the season and they can sell more clicks.
Personally i hate the idea.
For what its worth, i think the whole thing is driven by Gresham thinking he's worth more than anyone else does. Saints don't want to be rid of him, they want to stop paying him so much.
Was good to see him do well in his first game for you.
It Irks me to see him playing for the Bombers, when we have McKenzie on our emergency list ( a guy who shouldn't be on an AFL list ), but he's sure to have more opportunity than vying for a spot with Coffield, Clark, Paton, and Long.
Well done on picking up Hind.
He's been a bit inconsistent for us, but at his best he gets a bit of the ball, and uses it well, all at lightning pace.
He's not soft either, he often wins a contest. ( Unlike Hill ).
We didn't try him on the hbf , so it will be interesting if you use him there.
Yeah sorry about that ...its getting a bit old now...i'll get a new one, but need to get a round tuit and there is a serious lack of photographs of lego men in StKilda jumpers. :$
Hope i'm not annoying anyone. If you tell me to piss off i will go back to lurking.
It will be a funny year for trading draft picks. There are a lot of Academy players, and the draft is a roulette table due to TAC cup.
Bulldogs may not want an earlier first round pick this year.
Someone will...
Seems like they they convinced him, but he's contracted. He was likely to go to Collingwood last year.
Match the contract under offer and make a fair off to the Saints, and it could work.
