We were blinded and obsessed with the Richmond manic style short people after 2017. We legit went and recruited all these non skilled short people after this thinking we were gonna do the same
How many times did smith put himself under pressure resulting in him slamming it on his left foot.
He used to be a metres gained player. If he doesn’t do that then what’s the point? It’s not like he’s a terrific defender
100% agree unfortunately. Even last season I honestly couldn’t see what the high praise was all about. Offers very little. Amazing when you think he’s 24 and played nearly 100 games. He’s not a youngster anymore, he should be entering his peak and yet he plays like a first year player
Will be...
I wouldn’t get too carried away yet with Berry just yet. Similar to McHenry they always seem to have a positive impact when they come on as a sub, but seem to stink it up when given a full game
Yea sounded deluded and confusing. They actually think the problem is with our defensive structure and shape. The most concerning part was when he said they took a step in the right direction tonight
Watching hawthorn today, even they were able to atleast provide a decent contest down the line against Stewart. Chol even stuck his knee into Stewart. We are so useless we can’t even manage a tall player down the line that can even provide an aerial contest
If the recruiters are scouting anything other than midfielders, an investigations needs to take place in relation to their incompetence. I’d almost call it self sabotage
There’s definite confusion out there. We will eventually work it out, the problem is by the time we do we’ll be chasing our tales and it will be too late
When players continually miss uncontested 15 metre kicks and 5 metre handballs what are the chances of them executing the coaches game plan. It’s like he’s coaching the 2020 team again
Tbh hinge has a beautiful looking kick, but from the day he walked into the club I swear he worries more about getting penetration on his kick rather than kicking the ball to a team mates advantage. Similar to smith
Players that should be considered for omission. Murphy, pedler, Berry, smith, Jones
Murphy gives his all and can’t fault him for that. Actually looks like he’s even lost a yard of pace which makes him even less effective than before.
Pedler is a midfielder. Got some clearances when he went...
Agreed. I’m actually half confident when he has, or is around the ball. Actually stands out in our team as a proper AFL player with clean hands while everyone else stuffs up possible attacks with fumbles and errors
