Quite true, but Longmire would have known that finals football is attrition football and that he was sure to lose one player or another to injury, so he may well have been keeping Morton up his sleeve for just that eventuality. Or perhaps he actually was planning to drop someone and bring Mitch...
Thanks, I didn't know how much was known about that, but the fact remains that mental health problems can be so crippling that in his time at Richmond, even with the best treatment on offer, he simply may not have yet been ready to start recovering.
