    The Swansong - Departed Musicians

Saw Steve at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2004. Continually did things his way. The festival had a couple of handy headliners in the Who and David Bowie in what turned out to be his last ever U.K. gig.

Went to Sirromet a few times when we lived at Cleveland up there. Had to fill in at the last minute for a mate who is a CEO at a ten tenors/James Morrison gig there whom are both on my "fate worse than death" list. Food and grog were o.k. though.

You two sound like the two grumpy old blokes on the balcony in the Muppets. Sure there's always some good, some bad. Some of the best I've been to include Elton John at Rutherglen, Midnight Oil at Wodonga and a couple of Bruce Springsteen's at Hanging Rock not to mention the Who and David...

Answering my own question I know but story in the Age states that the dogs are appealing and that their insurance does not cover them. Wow. They are in a world of pain.

I know that the saints had similar issues. Be interesting to see whether clubs are covered under their public liability insurances?

Western bulldogs found not to have protected kids from historical little league paedophile and have to pay nearly $6 million. No winners in this sort of thing but that's got to hurt the club.

Interesting story about the Holbrook one that I recently heard. Was the second last of the Oberon class subs in Australia whilst waiting for Collins class subs. The last had its radar damaged whilst still operational. They weren't being made any more so the only way that they could get it...

Gee that was painless (fom the 3rd ball on). Maybe Head replaces Warner up top. Be interesting to see the pitch rating.

Bloody Khawaja - not only out second ball but burns a review for a caught behind. Played cricket for many years and there wasn't a time where I didn't know whether I hit it or not. Head should have taken first ball to go on the offensive.

What are you listening to now - No. 8 🎵🎻🎶🎼🎸

I have every copy of Mojo and Uncut since 1999. Uncut was previously my favorite but I think that Mojo has taken over in the last 10 years. New to this thread but I guess that you could call me an avid music collector. I'd reckon my collection stacks up with most. Used to but vinyl back in the...

Tough call. Was exonerated on all charges in 1985. Fairly unbiased account on Wikipedia. You could argue either way but there was some seriously dodgy witnesses and evidence.

I did 3 years in Brisbane and it is by far the worst place that I have lived (includes Melbourne, Sydney and U.K.) This is based on; * dark at 6.30 p.m. in the middle of summer. * 6 months ridiculous humidity. * endemic casual racism * small regional city mentality Nice place to holiday or...

Was lucky enough to go to 3 of them, 2003 Muirfield, 2005 Troon and 2006 St Andrews. Loved them all although Muirfield was a tie with Croke Park as one of the coldest days ever at a sporting event.
