Champion would have to have a big season to go top 40 imo. As a matter of fact his top 20 ratings are all over the shop and I wouldn't have at least 5-6 he has in the top 20 in the top 40.

Trade for developing talents who will fill a role at AFL level and chase free agents to fill roles while we develop young talent. The club is still short on everything. Buss is a big target for us as I don't see Bazzo making it as a KPD. He just doesn't play above his height which means he's...

Old news. Academy rework will be in there for south and to the west of the nsw/mexican border

List Mgmt. Welcome Harley Reid (Pick 1, 2023 National Draft)

Watching the game reminded me of taking my son to watch I think it was the second mighty ducks movie. I was like it's the bash brothers.

Prediction Round 6, 2024: Changes vs Fremantle

Personally I really want Rotham out. I can just see against a very structured fremantle press him completely holding up the play and making repeat turnovers for goals going back over his head.

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

Personally I disagree with Schofield as long as the beagles are competitive. I'd like to see him go back and get a good feel for the level below and rack up some more stats and easy ball then see him come back, even if it's just for a few weeks. He can take the bits he's learnt, implement it at...

2nds West Coast Eagles WAFL Watch 2024

I didn't rate him last year as anything other than maybe a rookie pick and think if we hadn't selected him where we did he still would have made it to the rookie draft but I think we've found one in Johnston. Will take a couple of years but very happy with his progress. Sheed played poorly...

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

Chesser is good for his age when the ball is around him and he's looking less rushed. his disposal was better yesterday. He needs to be making strides in regards to getting to the right spots to provide a release from the back half with run and carry forward. His extremely low mark numbers are...

He played with 2 cracked ribs.

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

I call it how I see it. He hasn't shown he is AFL quality outside of his athletic abilities since he was 16 years old.

List Mgmt. Welcome Harley Reid (Pick 1, 2023 National Draft)

Rowell's first couple of games before getting injured were on another level. Just explosive power at the contest and the man. Battering ram style clearances that blew apart experienced midfielders. Hopefully starting to see some of the best of Rowell to come as he is also just an amazing prospect.

Prediction Round 6, 2024: Changes vs Fremantle

Outs: Witherden, Rotham (stays if Jamieson isn't fit), Edwards (concussion), Maric (injured) Ins: Ryan to HB, Jamieson (if fit), Johnston and Trew (to sub)

Autopsy Round 5, 2024: Positives and Negatives vs Richmond

Huge positives are Waterman and Yeo. 8 contested marks is beyond ridiculous. His career at any level hung by a thread last year. Ran everywhere and slotted 6 very well deserved goals. Beat multiple opponents including one vs ones against players taller, faster and stronger than him. Yeo 2...

Autopsy Round 5, 2024: Positives and Negatives vs Richmond

Reid is the best prospect we've had on the list since Nicnat.

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

He was still dead average. Had a couple of nice plays against a team missing their entire starting midfield (Dusty playing forward as not fit) and then lost one of their few remaining senior players in the first quarter. Also missing their FF and CHF from last year and their retired former...

Autopsy Round 5, 2024: Positives and Negatives vs Richmond

I sure did, if it meant for picks 2 & 3. I then would have traded 3 for 6 & 11. Would have drafted McKercher (after bidding on Walter), O'Sullivan (After bidding on Ethan Read) and Wilson. Then would have gone straight for an inside mid with our nominal second rounder with Hall and been done...

A potential cheap pick up. He needs to get more of the ball around the ground but Max Knobel destroyed Scott Jones in the ruck yesterday. Offer him a 3-4 year contract. 206/207cm and still needs to put on another 10kg's. Pick him up either PSD or at worst a future fourth.

Garcia if he doesn't get on the ground a lot this year will likely be delisted.

Would be much happier to go back to 2 field umpires, one for each half of the ground. Back to the basic rule of umpiring. If you can't see the incident/free kick directly don't pay a free kick. The more umpires, the less likely they are to make decisions and the more howlers you get imo. Now if...

List Mgmt. Welcome Clay Hall (Pick 38, 2023 National Draft)

If he plays a full game, gets 25+ disposals and 5 tackles he's in line for a debut next week.

Yes, super happy go lucky guy. Turns out he's just likely to be an average state league footballer.

Garcia is hugely injury prone. Do not want, not a talent issue.

Ball use is good but not exceptional which is what we're chasing. Still very slim and has very good endurance.

List Mgmt. Contract, Trade and Draft Discussions - 2024 Edition

Ball use is neat, not great. I haven't watched him this year but his 20m sprint from memory was an issue outside of just being average. I still think it's too early to have top prospects for the MSD and i'm not sure the club will have a pick.

In a 100m race I think you could give edwards a 30m head start and he'd still lose by 10m.

2nds West Coast Eagles WAFL Watch 2024

Lets just look at who the eagles had as 'AFL listed players' last week shall we. Sheed and Culley both coming back after roughly 12 months off playing limited minutes and on lighter duties. 3 First year players, one of which would be playing WAFL league the other two in a proper setup likely...

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

Different types of players but I think similarly of him as Venables. Has just missed too much development due to injury and doesn't have the innate game sense required of where to be and when to make an impact. A long shot to make it despite having great athletic abilities. Needs to spend a...

List Mgmt. Contract, Trade and Draft Discussions - 2024 Edition

I strongly doubt Mraz is there at our second pick but if he was at this stage would be hard to pass up. Hotton looks like a bolter but skills are an issue, will go between our first and second pick imo. Travaglia is a watch for me on our second pick as is Lalor. No real interest in the rest...

    Oppo Camp Non-Eagles Discussion

If we were ever going to beat Richmond now is the time with the outs they have. Players have an 8 day break between games vs 7 however coming off back to back away games, mind you this will be richmonds second away game in a row which is nigh on unheard of for them.
