So i stupidly traded in Halep and made her my captain not realising she had withdrawn from St Petersburg. I also traded out Bouchard because she wasnt on the list for the Taiwan Open but she ended up playing. Despite these poor decisions i have 2 players in the semis (Kasatkina and Lisicki), 1...
He has looked out of it before and come back but I feel like this injury is more significant than those times in the past. Chung just needs to keep getting balls back in play and Djokovich will beat himself
With Bencic & Gasparyan withdrawing from next rounds matches I'm going to struggle big time. After trades I'll only have 4/8 players competing :( I think I made major errors with my starting team and will likely trade as hard as possible early to attempt to rectify them
I actually like the idea that you need to choose who you think your best 8 scorers will be. It adds an element of strategy as theoretically you can gain more points by doing more research on H2Hs etc. That said, it also requires more luck which is obviously the negative. All fantasy games I've...
I understand the scoring system is far from perfect and your argument about missing points is valid but I really don't know what the solution is. Scaling points based on how far into the match the withdrawal occurred is the only solution I can think of and that has its issues because it requires...
I currently have 8 males and 8 females. I didn't plan that, it just worked out that way. All of my key players are male though. Not sure if I should sub Sharapova or Kerber in  That would relegate Tsonga to the regular team players category. Currently 3/4 team players are female
Yeah Dimitrov has a soft-ish draw. I just got rid of Rafa so I could grab Dimitrov and Tsonga, partly because both of them are scheduled to play in a couple tournaments following the Open whereas Nadal isn't.
Sharapova is my only player between 5-8 mil. That is probably where my team will suffer but I think Djokovich is great value and I'm a huge Nadal fan so I can't bring myself to drop him. I currently have 4 players between 3-5 mil and then 5 2-3 mil and 3 <2 mil.
Playing for the 1st time. I have Fed, Rafa, Novak & Sharapova. Then the rest of my team is pretty shithouse. The AFL SC/DT equivalent of my strategy is guns n rookies but I really have no idea whether it will be effective for this competition or not. I figure with the 50% and 20% bonuses the top...

He's a Serb! Most are very hotheaded - it's a stereotype, yes but there just seems to be something about Russians/Serbs.
I think Djokovic is slowly getting better though, i mean he was a complete idiot to say he was going to take it to Federer in that fourth round match at the 07 Aussie open...
Incredible match, i watched both the Wimbledon final and that match to the end and i can say this was much more exciting, closer too IMO (That rain break at Wimbledon stopped Nadal from probably winning the match in 3 IMO, glad he didn't in the end - my bet was still correct and it was a great...
Poor Lleyton:( i can just see the headlines now....
Star to Sub-Par
Former world number 1 and Australias biggest hope for Australian open glory has been knocked out of the Australian open in the first round by the "raging bull" Chilean, Gonzalez.
He lost in 5 sets, being blown off...
