Altona beat Spotty by about 7 goals after being down by 2 goals at half time.

Altona went down to Werribee's under 19's Amateurs squad today by 7 goals. Not a bad effort considering they were missing 3 A's players including captain Matt Tedesco.

Altona beat Knox today by around 4-5 goals with 6 A's players only playing a half and 3 others not playing at all.

Altona defeated Lara by 4 goals on the weekend without around 5 A's players.

Spotswood or Altona are your best bets.

Altona dont have the stand-out names they had last year, but the commitment down at training and the attitude of the players seem to be much better. More of a champion team, rather then a team of champions as it was last year.

No 18A's game now. Altona taking the points over Port Colts as Port Colts dont want to play with club umpires. Not sure how the situation is with all the other clubs though.

Supposably there are problems with the umpires again, so games may not go ahead this week. But then again this happened earlier in the season and games went ahead so who knows.

Harris and Langham are 2 that come to mind. Agree with the marathon-morning walk comment, Altona looked like they could have played another game ontop. We'll see how they measure up against Werribee in a few weeks, should be a cracker.

The coach. Well respected at every club he has coached at, has already brought down about 7-8 guys with him from previous clubs with a few more still to come.

Didnt say they're going to lose bottom age players. They'll lose some of thier 18's from the season that has just passed. So guys who have already played a season in 18A's

Williamstown have lost a few of thier better 18's players to Altona, Willi wont get anywhere near finals. Altona to suprise and finish top 2.
