Mate he is definitely an expert. Experts don’t always get it right, there are some who have more experience than others, there are some experts that you listen to over others but make no mistake, Aker is an expert.
You could probably make that same argument for the national draft as well.
I found something that had statistics to show that as of the end of the 2017 season, about 17% of players who play an AFL game go on to play 100 games, which I think would kind of be the minimum amount of games to say...
They talk about it killing momentum, but I am just not convinced that an extra minute or so break really changes anything at all. I would rather they get it right. I would actually almost go further and say that the set shorts from a mark or free kick should be reviewed at the same time to make...
Aka's problem as far as getting good coaching gigs etc is his outspokeness/personality but IMO he does know footy pretty well. We were definitely outcoached on the weekend and it's far from the first time it has happened.
My big question is around Rayner and what his role is expected to be. I’m not sure that there is anyway around Rayner career so far being anything other than a coaching error.
Is it that he can’t play the role we want him to play because of his gas tank? Then we need to find a role where his...
Is there any chance WAshcroft spends a lot of time on the wing when he comes back? I’m not in the camp of moving Berry on, he has his shortcomings but he has strengths which some of our players lack. I’m much more worried about players that aren’t performing right now or have never been consistent.
Cannot see how Hogan who at the very least attempted to punch another player twice or Green who after jumping made no attempt to look like he was taking a mark can get off. It's the tribunal so anything can happen.
Surely someone who was at the game can answer but was the vision at the ground impaired with how it was bucketing down? Much easier to see on TV with the cameras being so good now than on a rainy night game.
Agree with this. I'm sure sport science says you don't have to but my understanding of the Gabba is it gets pretty dewy etc and conditions are a bit different at night.
Eagles did the same thing the round before though so it all kind of evens out in the end. If both teams had have ranked the last few games of the season it would’ve been a horrible look.
Last week he had 27 and a goal. I’m impressed that he is backing up good games. At 19 you can be forgiven for having a bad game for every good game. According to footywire, he is ranked 19th for centre clearances, not bad in your first 6 games.
He’s having a similar out put to our own Will...
Silver lining. We had 3 posters early on, if those are goal, we have a bit of score board pressure and we go from 4.13.36 to 7.10.52. Still not a W but at least more respectable.
Clugg should have had a shot, instead Cameron gets not only a FK but a 50 that lead to a goal. 12 point turn around...
Putting aside Rayner for a second because he was a disappointment. Dunkley had to play an extra half plus time in the ruck compared to Lyons. That’s a bit harder and it’s no wonder why his stats aren’t high.
In conditions that should have suited Lyons, he did stuff all. I thought he would be a...
Writing the season off a bit early. I’m as disappointed as anyone else in the loss and the way we played for an elite player Hugh played one of the dumbest games I’ve ever seen from a player of that quality. He’s a country Vic boy, surely he is used to wet weather.
Other than the outcome it’s hard to see the difference between that and the Peter Wright hit.
Just showed O on Tele. That’s gonna be one hell of a shiner.
