Don’t know if this just a rumour but was told both Chelsea and Bonbeach are thinking of joining the Southern in 2023? Surely both clubs wouldn’t leave the MPFL as it’s a much superior standard to Southern Division 1 unless they both want to go trophy hunting.

Like a Seaford and a Chelsea ha then the St.Kilda City’s and Port Colts might be Div 2 then if clubs come from the MPFL and Eastern come in the the Southern to make it stronger.

Yes that’s true but what happens to Bentleigh,St.Kilda City,St.Paul’s and Mordialloc,Port Colts they wouldn’t be in Div 1 or winning flags in Div 1. If anything MPFL and Eastern could pick up more Southern teams in years to come.

I’m hearing Murrumbeena want to play all home games in the 1st half of the season as away games due to they hate there portable change rooms and new pavilion won’t be ready to late May maybe early June .

Rooms won't be ready until August next year and with a new Electronic Scoreboard and cricket nets which will be placed in the current car park. So if things work out for Murrumbeena they can unfurl the 2022 Division 3 flag in Round 1 in 2023 at the new look Benna Arena.
