Agree with the Sewell motion. Sewell wore him like a proverbial Gary Payton glove.

    Past #15: Ben Ross - #3 in '06 PSD - delisted at end '11 season - JJL '12 VFL winner - HFC rookie '14

How is DJAAAAAARS supposed to get a game with all these small forwards coming in. Farce.

I personally think the beginning of the rise was his move from Coburg to North Ballarat. He was a Bendigo boy originally and I feel the move back to the country atmosphere was an socio-cultural environment which suited his personality. He needed to find a niche where he felt comfortable. This...

Posters here will remember me having a bit of a giggle that the Roos took a punt on Djars in the rookie draft. Those that followed Box Hill or Hawks training a few years ago will remember Djars as the guy that kicked torpies from the boundary at training but couldn't be stuffed running a lap...

Surely I didn't go that far... But his attitude towards footy up until this year was like alot of ours would be. Play footy with your mates, win and get rightly violated at the bar. I remember stating that he has the ability to be an AFL footballer but he's never had the desire to really put...

I know the "good bloke" theory doesn't always work, but Djaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars honestly is one of the best blokes I've ever spoken too. Furthermore, he has all the skills in the world. His problem has always been putting all the pieces together in terms of the right environment, the right...

    Past #27: Aaron Edwards - drafted w/ #82 in '06 ND - traded to Tiges for #74 in '12 ND - 100 goals @ WCE

Hawthorn, Richmond and Adelaide the big winners IMO.

Pratt is easily your best player behind the Spud.

Yep, hence my love for DJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS stems back further than any of your respective loves for DJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS. DJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS.

Fitness has never been good, but he's coming back from injury yeah? Hard to judge. His body shape is basically the same as it has been for the past few years. His approach is pure Whyman. Doesn't get a sniff for the first half then comes out and decides to flick the switch. Thing is, I don't...

Plenty of talent and can turn it on when he wants to but I don't reckon AFL will ever be his scene.

McConnell was a gun junior. He played with my mates at around 14, 15 and EFL clubs chased him hardcore. Think he ended up going to Vermont who splashed out a bit to get him (ie. footy gear etc). Hazy memories of the story...

Past #6: Shannon Grant - Sydney '95-'97 - traded to NM for W. Schwass - 243 games for NM (301 overall)

He's got oodles of talent but might want to give up on his AFL career to go play in a much lesser league? It's odd to me.

I know it was only something Quarters said rather than anything official, but it does sound like Motlop is a headcases.
