Seems to keep getting better.
Excellent player, should be a main board thread for this.
Remember his efforts in pulling Freo back into the 2013 Grand Final were fantastic.
Yeah a good pub, it is very close walk to the ground. If you go there be sure to make your way to the rooftop.
If you plan on eating and want a table I suggest booking a table last week......
Some of you might find this amusing: http://the-flack.com/2013/09/a-guide-to-melbourne-for-fremantle-fans/ basically a tongue in cheek guide to Melbourne.
For live music best bet is probably Fitzroy area. Brunswick, Northcote, St.Kilda pretty good too.
CBD has some cool bars, particulary...
Well a good day in the end for Freo, hope those who made it down and even stuck around a bit enjoyed the ground, the town, the people :D etc. Having a few more oppo supporters just gave the ground a different vibe too, had a bit of an edge to it.
Good solid depth of big-bodied midfielders...
Sorry for intrusion but having done this before I can confirm:
1. Even if you are in the 'Guaranteed GF Ticket' membership category you still have to ring up / register online to get your ticket, so don't forget!
2. Standing room - you don't get shafted as such if you say you do not want...
Pre-booking a ticket is not compulsory, but might be the way to go to avoid any possible queue at Southern Cross.
Note it is South Geelong station, not Geelong, that is nearest the ground so bear that in mind. From there it is an easy walk, you'll be able to see the ground easily to know which...
Sounds like the stand directly opposite where the TV cameras are. On the fence, near the front end of the centre square. Pretty much as close as you can get to the action. Only negative might be looking into the sun a bit but all up, pretty good seats.
