lol, wouldn’t even make the top 50 happiest people in this forum, just because I can admit the team is s**t doesn’t mean it makes me happy.
Meanwhile everyone outside of Victoria is very happy, especially the West Australians who many have never seen the state lose to Victoria.
I can’t remember a worse batting lineup. Handscomb and Harris have played tests but clearly on the decline. Harris not helped by so much time carrying drinks. Our best batsman is Maddo who comes back from long term injury but is a duck or hundred type player.
Unfortunately Puck is a lost cause...
I’d rather we win but when duds like Merlo were being gifted games and they thought Sutherland could bat 7, it was obvious to anyone not blind from the beginning.
The batting is the weakest it’s been in my lifetime and the geniuses at CV think the answer is to play more bowlers…
You can lock in WA v Tassie at the WACA, only team who has been worse than Victoria today is Tassie blowing a home final in spectacular fashion.
But some will be proud of Victoria for finishing 4th. It doesn’t matter if they win or lose or if they stick to a failed strategy of 4 batsman and 6...
You read the top run scorers for the Shield and it's a sorry sight for Australia.
For all the faith in this Victorian batting lineup from some, not a single batsman in the team has a first class average over 40, Short is averaging 19 this season, Harper averages 26 at no6 and our no7 averages...
Getting a chuckle out of your weird obsession, but hey keep calling people losers, I’ve never been dropped from a club side without explanation so if you think you’re talking about me, you’re wrong as usual.
Run along back to your mother’s club on the hill and have another drink.
Well sure, we can’t all make perfect predictions like your claim last game that Tassie was as good as 7 out, all out. How did that one turn out?
But yes, seeing a second XI beat Victoria by an innings definitely doesn’t inspire confidence, but then again NSW go from not winning a game for...
But you’re happy just making finals and not making any improvements.
This year they had a perfect opportunity to make the OD final and blew it and look to do the same in the shield. So is going backwards a good thing?
Will need a rare results pitch at the Junktion next week, a draw is useless.
Tassie would probably prefer to play Victoria, WA could get Green and Marsh back for the final.
Less than half what their 10th wicket put on…
Be interesting to see if they take it slow or Sutherland comes out swinging.
Murphy and Siddle are capable of holding up an end and adding 10-20 runs, but the bulk of the responsibility falls on the skipper.
