Always a draw this one even half way through day one it was known.
Should keep us 3rd given the game at the MCG is also heading for a draw thanks to the rain.
Be interesting to see what happens in the rest of NSW v TAS game given that's only day two
So happy for Boz! 2nd ton at shield level.
Known him for ages as obviously I know most of them doing the screens for shield, futures and fury etc.
He was U19 Australian Captain to see keep that in mind.
2 huge wickets there.
Both wickets with chop ons
The two big freshies in Bailey and Wade now though. Get one of these before they are set and looking good.
Fantastic game of cricket this one.
First session tomorrow for both sides is absolutely crucial.
Will it continue to ebb and flow like the first two days or will a side pit it to bed tomorrow.
I guess we find out tomorrow.
Alot better effort from the WA bowlers this week. Greeny and Moods did the damage whilst Kelz and Stoin provided the tightness.
I'm calling it now.....SOS to ton up tomorrow.
Matt Page (stand in head curator) is aiming for exactly that....once again i saw the test pitch whilst out in the middle the other day and whilst its still not even at the dying off stage it look like a hard pitch thatll have bounce on it.....will try take a look at it coser to the date and keep...
Pitch will probably be the same as it has all season....green patches and cracks will.appear early on but itll be good enough to bat on if you bat sensibly....this is going off what i saw when helping ground crew during that rain delay in last shield game....all depends how its come up the last...
TAS are 8/152 still trailing by about 50 on first innings and 2 wickets left so looks like it'll be wrapped up inside 3 days and an innings win for the WACA boys.
Hilton Cartwright with 3/1 off three overs.
Doesn't have a state contract anymore but obviously being a futures league game they can call up anyway they wish if they are making runs etc at grade level.
Mackin looked promising in the first innings with the ball.
WA all out for 375 so a lead of almost 200
could be over tomorrow this one...
It's on the CA site.
WA are currently 5/281 moments before tea. So a lead of 94 runs
Tom Beaton is on 34
Jarron Morgan is on 47. 87
Ashton Turner made 55.
Marcus Harris made 13
Aaron Todd made 59
Luke Towers made 61
Cartwright got a duck.
Wicket takers yesterday for WA were
Mackin...
Futures league are playing at Richardson Park in south Perth against Tas and at the end of day 1 Tas were bowled out for 186 and WA are 1/64 in reply.
Was a good day for WA
Very average stuff by Rankin.
As said these two batting well...defending the good balls punishing the poor balls.
0/57 after 12
Towers on 21
Harris on 35
It sure is Chris Lynn.
Its pretty much WAs futures league side plus a returning Mitch marsh and then Lynn.
Anderson and Tremlett opening the bowling
Towers and Harris batting.
Apologies if its in the wrong part of this board...but this gets underway today in about 15 mins
