That's interesting because the defensive efforts were pretty much non-existent during the first quarter and didn't improve. Perhaps Voss needed to give the boys a rocket. If we play like that against GWS we will be lucky to be within 10 goals at the final siren.
From the comments that I've read it seems that not many have actually watched much of the Eagles this year. They are decimated by injuries and are playing a lot of players who aren't really up to AFL just yet (they will be but it will take a few years) but they are playing a very attractive...
I'm not sure that the wonder soap will work to remove all of the stain but hope it does. If it doesn't work try vanish or make a paste of some baking soda and dab on the stain, soak in washing powder in water as hot as the fabric allows then wash as usual. Good luck.
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates this holiday and to those who don't just have a great day. No presents for me but the best present would be Cripps holding the cup aloft next year.
Thanks also to the Mods you have all done a great and thankless job.
I remember reading a post a few years ago on the Drafting board that adopted sons were eligible for father and son subject to the normal games played rules. This makes sense to me because an adoptive child is a child of the adoptive parents according to the laws of the land so the AFL would be...
I'm not impressed.
It is hard to believe that Eddie's statement is new to the AFLPA. I understand that Eddie has stated that he told them about the camp. If so (for clarity I believe Eddie) then the AFLPA has failed in their duty and responsibilities. Likewise the AFL.
We are the worst performed club since our last flag. 5 wooden spoons attest to that despite what the cheer squad on this board thinks. But an independent review is needed because all of the internal reviews/opinions have failed. It will be good for the club to stop repeating those failures...
I have just got back from Perth and I have been reading and seeing a lot of information about Deven Robertson. He looks the goods too me and I hope we pick him if he is available.
A good description bigm386. They are a lottery and I would prefer the umpires just let the ruckmen get on with it and not bother about the tiggy touchwood frees.
I watched the press conference. David Teague was very impressive.
If the team plays like they did today for the remainder of the year we will pick up a few more wins and Teague will have a great chance of being appointed as the next coach.
A well deserved, and overdue, honour for Kenny. I saw his first WAFL game at Claremont oval in 1975 where he debuted against my team West Perth. In pretty much the first contest of the game he backed into a pack and John Wynne (a fantastic player and tough and South Aussies may remember him...
This is the one that gets me riled. If the player doesn't have prior then they still must make an attempt to dispose of the ball. Dropping the ball is not a legitimate attempt.
Someone on the Gameday thread thinks Oliver is second best on the ground behind De Goey. Oliver when handballing has been ok but he has butchered most of his kicks.
