Pretty much. That press conference that Little and Hird held was basically an exercise in ensuring the AFL will not offer them a deal at all, little loan a watered down one compared to the one they rejected to start with.

Fair enough, but, speaking for myself, in combination with certain comments from some other Essendon supporters and not to mention the banner/crowd dress-ups from the weekend, that's not how it is coming across.

The winking avatars and the sombreros do not indicate to me that certain Essendon fans care overly much about the truth, it's as if they're revelling in the mistaken belief that they're putting one over the AFL and the rest of the competition. Of course opposition supporters are going to fire...
