  1. Infamy

Should we really feel sorry for the players?

What I never understood is how Reimers was treated so badly by Essendon for what he said, yet he never broke ranks from the 34 up on charges.

AFL 360 and Footy Classified - Essendon Decision Specials & ABC Hird Interview/Q&A

He was wrong there were 3 panel members They were unanimous (3-0) that the players were guilty They were only split (2-1) on the “no significant fault or negligence” part

If Essendon finish on the bottom of the ladder, do they deserve the #1 draft pick?

They should be stripped of their Round 1 pick in 2016, but that's probably all as far as draft sanctions, it essentially just moves them to the end of each round in 2016 rather than the start. Additional fines for running a doping program Jobe to be stripped of Brownlow, but will be interesting...

How long will it take for Hird to regain his reputation with the general public.

Would take him doing an interview like Lance Armstrong to admit all his fault and wrongdoings, but unlike Lance, then show humility and contrition and apologise for his actions. However, given James is a sociopath, this will never happen

    Essendon players could sue

You still can't use the word "fact" about AOD in relation to Essendon's injection program as its all speculation. The only fact is that it is banned under the WADA code. Why it isn't being pursued only ASADA knows, everyone else is just guessing.

    Essendon players could sue

How can you seriously use that line when everything you say is based on speculation and misinformation? I don't think you even know what a fact is
  7. Infamy

    Essendon players could sue

No wonder the labels on that vial was so dodgy, not much time left to make sure things have proper professional labels for substances about to be injected into professional athletes ;)
  8. Infamy

    Essendon players could sue

WADA has confirmed that its banned publicly, just because ASADA hasn't gone after Essendon for this doesn't change its status
  9. Infamy

    Essendon players could sue

Just because its not a "roid" doesn't mean its not still banned as its not approved for human use Clearly ASADA gave bad information about its status and that is why its not being pursued.

    Essendon players could sue

Funny how you stopped saying mickey mouse road in the other thread I called you out on, but here you are using it again AOD is not a "roid" at all, by constantly saying this you are just making yourself look ignorant and also given you keep saying it after I've told you that its not, pretty...

    Essendon players could sue

You clearly don't read what I write and just start mouthing off, its pretty easy to get it down to under $19k by still sticking to the recommended schedule Clearly you didn't see my first post that the recommended schedule has a range of dosages, 4-8mg for 6-8 weeks then 2-6mg per fortnight. I...

Contingency plans being put into place

I hope they then get charged for breaching the salary cap after having to pay the salaries of all those extra players
  13. Infamy

    Essendon players could sue

I already commented that the $19k could be achieved just by getting a better price and by reducing the dosage to less than the maximum. I was also working off a 6 month plan, it could have been 2 months which is a standard cycle without the maintenance. The $19k could be achieved easily with a...

    Essendon players could sue

I've called you out on this crap before, yet here you are peddling the same crap again in a different thread. That was only one invoice, yet that amount alone would be enough for around 40,000 doses of those substances at RETAIL prices, at bulk prices as this would be it would be even more. You...

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

You do realise that at no time have the names of the 34 players been mentioned by ASADA?

    - There is a right of appeal for the players, though the appeals process is very rarely successful though, if ever. - As I pointed out to you, the AFL was effectively forced by the federal government to become fully WADA compliant back in 2005, it has no relevance whatsoever if the AFL signed on...

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

I still don't see how this is relevant to the Show Cause Notices given to Essendon nor the ASADA investigation into their supplements program of 2012

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

I really don't see how that is relevant to this thread. Plus while you see problems with it, I also see significant advantages but as I said, this is not the thread to discuss it.

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

Why are you painting this as though its an Australian only thing, or AFL only thing? ASADA is just the local representation of WADA, the body that oversees elite sport WORLDWIDE. ASADA don't make up their own set of rules, they are there to enforce WADA's rules. The Federal Government ensured...

How can you say that there is still insufficient evidence when you haven't seen all the evidence? All you are going on is information leaked to the media and a biased dissection of the interim report from over 12 months ago. Do you have any idea how many multivitamins, Tribulus, L Carnite...

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

It DOES matter, if there really wasn't enough TB4 to treat all the players then that would be a pretty key detail. You couldn't have been more wrong. I wasn't arguing any of the crap you just posted here, I really don't care and I said in my previous post that was the key matter that ASADA...

While good to read, it is clearly written with someone with a very heavy bias. It would be much more credible if there was at least an attempt to be impartial.

Did you miss this part? Looks like you are confusing the raw material to the final product. 100 vials is enough for 3 vials per player. I recognise that there is more in there that goes on to discuss even greater quantities and they are looking at the discrepancy, but those 3 vials per player...

Show Cause Notices v2.0 sent out by ASADA

Stop calling AOD a "Mickey Mouse Roid", its not a "Roid" at all. AOD9604 is a fragment of human growth hormone, a "Roid" is a synthetic version of Testosterone. The only thing they have in common is that both (testosterone & hgh) are made naturally in the body and both are needed for the body to...

Fahey Interview - AFR “I expect there will be several charges by ASADA. It’s only a matter of when.”

Actually ex-President of WADA, he stepped down in November, so only a couple of weeks ago. Doubt he'd be making those comments if he was still in the position, however having only just left it would be fair to say he's fairly up to date on the subject and what is coming.

    Peptides linked to players death

This sort of thing is linked more towards growth hormones and similar substances that are taken to generate new cells. If you even wanted to take HGH you should go to your doctor to find out if you have a predisposition towards cancer and have a body scan to ensure that you don't already have...
